Boo!! TO didn't make the poster! I hope that doesn't mean they cut a lot of Horry. I think he's important to the story.
And I really want the swimming pool scene.

Thanks for this great photo! Did you all see the commercial for this film during the Emmys last night? No sign of TO in the whole thing!! Something is wrong here! Also, since TO and WG were not nominated, but both have been in the past, I was hoping we would see them come out as presenters...that would have made the show much better! they could have left out that whole Weird Al fiasco! Anyway only about 23 days til the film is released> wonder if there is a big Hollywood Premiere event we can look forward to for new photos?

Kyle Chandler won 3 years ago when TO was nominated (most likely because Bryan Cranston was ineligible that year) and has also never been on the show to present since he won. Both he and TO were/are on small networks. There must be a lot of politics with the Emmys.

I'm sure you are right about politics involved...and as I was rewatching Season One this week, I thought maybe those in charge of Emmys are not to fond of hillbillies, moonshine, rednecks and meth dealers, when it comes to giving out awards...tho we all know there is so much more to "Justified", but I'll guess that there is some snobbery among the powers that be...

I can't tell you how many prime time commercials I saw tonight on ABC for 'This is Where I Leave You.' Several different versions, and not a one of them show TO.
That means one of three things, I think:
1) He's being saved as a surprise for the film.
2) They think no one on network TV would know who he is, especially in his Horry getup. (I notice they stuck in Connie Britton's face (with no dialogue) on commercials on "Nashville's" ABC network, trying to draw in her fans.
3) He's not in the movie very much or on the cutting room floor.
I know he won't be in it enough to satisfy any of us. I'm hoping it's number 1. Kyle Chandler had a very small part in "The Spectacular Now," but it was so good, so against type, he got good press for it. Having read the book, I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that TO's character is a good part of the story. It could do the same for him.

Is that Horry's scar on his forehead from his accident?

I can't wait, either!! Doesn't the snippet make you wish you were Tina Fey? It does me. Lucky wench! Gets a tender love, screen moment with TO? sure does...Lucky Tina! I love the expressions on both their faces...I have such high hopes for this movie! I was poking around looking at early reviews over at Rotten Tomatoes. I saw 2 reviews where TO is mentioned. One couldn't figure out why he was there, why he was cast. He said TO is in several scenes throughout, and is just 'there.' I'm concerned the book was edited for the screen, and Horry time is not well represented. I can't remember the review (when I have more time I'll go back and look and post the link). But I asked the reviewer if he'd 1) read the book and 2) seen TO in The Mindy Project? Because if he had, he wouldn't be asking why he was cast. And that if his performance doesn't work, I suspect it's an editing issue. For TO's sake (and ours because we've waited a long time to see this film), I hope he's just an outlier.

I was wondering how much TO was going to do in this movie, and how many of his scenes would be left on the cutting room floor. Hopefully he'll be accepting bigger roles on the big screen when he has more time next year. He's too talented to just show up in a scene and hang out while everyone else gets all the good lines.

I agree completely. I am also worried that "they" may want Tina's character to be "the good girl" and may take away her brief encounter with Horry, which is really important to the story, and which if left out, will change a lot of things, including my main reason for wanting to see this film...TO in the swimming pool! come on! But seriously, it is key to Wendy's story.
