wkw99- my husband knows I like TO but I think he really enjoyed the gorgeous girls in A Perfect Getaway. He's always liked Milla J. I don't know if I'll get him to watch any of the other TO movies I have. He liked Hitman though. Lots of action and shooting. Go figure.

He might like The Crazies. It was billed as horror, but it's more thriller, and very much in the same vein as The Walking Dead, if he likes that.
Aside from Perfect Getaway, Hitman, and the one Die Hard where TO plays the villain, I don't think we've watched any of his other movies together.

I think my husband would like The Crazies, he loves The Walking Dead. I don't think I'd like it because I don't like Zombie movies. I have to go upstairs while he's watching TWD. I can't stand the screeching, chewing sounds the Zombies make. I think The Crazies may be the only TO movie I don't want to watch! LOL.

Actually, I'm not a fan of the chewy, crunchy flicks, either, but Tim is lovely in The Crazies. Give it a shot.
If the hubby likes pretty girls, "The Girl Next Door" might be fun for him. A bit teenage comedy+adult humor. Tim has great hair in it. LOL

I don't think I'd like 'The Crazies'' either, I dont think I could watch it even though TO is in it.

The Crazies is actually okay for the non-zombie fan. I HATE zombie movies but this one is more about the survivors than the monsters, of which you don't see that much. At least not as much as you'd usually get in this kind of flick.

He is beautiful and heroic in this movie. I think it would appeal to both men and women; there is danger and suspense, but it is also a wonderful love story. (Both of my adult sons liked it.)

Oh, yeah. The Crazies was actually appreciated by the critics more so than the public. It is a plausible bio weapon movie. Not technically Zombie. You must sit through the credits, that's all I'm gonna say.
I said a Looonng time ago that I wanted to marry Tim's character in The Crazies, David Dutton.
I had posed the question, which character of TOs would you want to marry. It was between David Dutton and the character in Coastlines 'cause he knows how to paint classic cars, of which I happen to own six. LOL.
The sweet scene in TC where he is working on the farmhouse door made me ovulate. LOL.

Mine would be a toss up between those two and his character in A Perfect Getaway. I love his grand romantic gesture with the ring....and his abs were goddamngorgeous in that movie.

After Raylan you mean?
I'd have to go with Kelly, just for the fact he was so impossibly hot and cool, not to mention dangerous. Not so keen his chosen profession but the way he rocked those threads made up for it.

Gone in 60 Seconds is an okay TO guy-friendly flick. Girl Next Door was immature boy humor, which is fun. Deadwood is all kicking ass and taking names. Timmy has done such a wide variety of stuff, I'm sure you and hubby can find another flick to agree upon.

alphamare: Deadwood is where I discovered TO. Husband and I both love Deadwood. We spent all last summer watching it (some episodes twice).
We watched The Girl Next Door and Go this weekend. We kind of liked Go. The Girl Next Door was definitely immature boy humor. When I saw Timothy's character for the first time I laughed out loud at this clothes and hair! He made that movie so much more interesting!

My husband is now a big fan of Justified...I talked him into watching the first series when we were on holiday and he is hooked. Of course I feel obliged to watch every episode with him in case he needs something explained.....or something! I loved Tim in Damages, his character was soooo ambiguous.

My husband wonders why I want to watch every new episode of Justified twice. I tell him it's just because I sometimes get confused by the storyline and want to really understand what's going on before the next episode. I don't think he believes me.

LOL. I had on a "young country" station in my car and my spousal unit jumped in it. He asked me when I started liking country music. I said "My other boyfriend likes it. so It just kinda wore off on me."
I think the autographed 11x17 on my vanity might have tipped him off to my Olyphant as Raylan fetish.
I haven't called him "Raylan" in the bedroom yet so I'm still in the clear. LOL
Seriously, he's become a fan since Justified is so awesome. The other day we actually watched Die Hard 4 when it happened to come on FX and he didn't roll his eyes or anything.
It's only when I reverse the buffer during Justified and make him re-watch Tim slink around in those tight jeans with the bulging package that my spousal unit says "ALRIGHT! ENOUGH ALREADY!"

motorcitymade- I only reverse the TIVO over and over to watch a Raylan scene when my husbands not around. He knows I have a "crush", but he doesn't want to watch that much Raylan. LOL My husband is a great guy, though. He recorded the Kelly and Michael appearance for me (we don't get local network programming on our direct tv tivo). He will make a recording of anything I ask him to. He also has the Nerdist podcast on his phone, ready for me to listen. Calling him "Raylan" in the bedroom would probably put a stop to all the Mr. Nice guy, though.

Had a very nice time last night. My husband made me my favorite white peach sangria, and we watched High Life. I loved HIgh Life. Tim's character is so interesting; the thoughtful, intelligent drug addict. He is also fvcking beautiful in this movie! He's supposed to be a bedraggled, messed up junkie, but he is still incredibly handsome. I really enjoyed the story, although it was sad. Watching them get high was a sad part in an otherwise kind of funny movie.
I've now seen Coastlines, The Crazies, High Life, Go, The Girl Next Door, and A Perfect Getaway. Those are all the Tim movies I have in my possession right now (except Electra Lux, which I haven't watched yet).
I really did like The Crazies. Hubby liked it too. You all were right that it really isn't a zombie movie, although some of the gore grossed me out (and I don't gross out that easily, I love Dexter). I told my husband I think it's about a man who goes back for his wife. It's about his love for his wife and his bravery, and Tim was great for that role.

You can see ElectaLuxx by opening it on the IMDB Timothy Olyphant page. Find the videos, click and among all the 2-3 minute clips you will find the entire movie available to watch online. (didn't much care for it, found it quite odd watching the lead with her blond wig, and Tim's not in most of the movie. Also the entire episode of Samantha whatever, with Christina Applegate where TO guest starred, is found there. I found Girl Next Door in the bargain box at 1/2 price books for $3, got Coastlines and the Safety of Objects, from Amazon.com. And just today from Amazon, I received in the mail "Advice from a Caterpillar" that's my Saturday night , right there.
Broken Hearts clubs is available at target or Amazon, online. Catch and Release too. I got the first two seasons of Damages in a package deal for $10 at Target, might check online for that as well.
Back to the yard work...hope you are all having a great day!

I forgot to mention Catch and Release as one that I've seen. I really want to see Advice from a Caterpillar. I've seen a few short clips from that on Youtube, and it's definetly one I'll be buying. We have the DVD of Electra Lux that my husband bought from Amazon. We just haven't watched it yet because I've heard it's not very good. Mare- I have yard work to do too. Just waiting for it to cool off outside.
