I went into Big Lots to get potting soil and came out with 'Go' for $3. I am happy.

I love the way you shop!
"The Crazies" is on again tonight at 8 EST, on the Encore channel.
Don't think I can watch it again except maybe for those 2 scenes that I love. The very Raylan-like one on the porch where he's planing wood instead of talking to someone about how upset he is over killing that man and the other in the diner where he tells the wife he'll stay and die with her if she wants him to. This movie is just too depressing to see again.

Wow, I've now seen 19 TO films, 2 seasons of Justified for the first time and 3 seasons of Deadwood (plus his appearances on Samantha Who and The Office) ... since the first of October 2011. I just watched I am Number Four last night. Much better than I thought it would be.

27..... and counting. I have the other four on DVD but am saving them for a rainy day, along with Damages. Does that make me a devoted fan.... or obsessed? Am I really the only one here who has seen Ellen Foster and 1999? Did you see someone posted a clip of TO's first TV appearance in the pilot episode of Mr. and Mrs. Smith? The audio and video are out of sync ---- way out of sync. Plus TO's voice is very youthful, not the deep, mellifluous tones of today. I actually watched this when it first aired. So I saw our guy early on. Not that I noticed as I only tuned in for Scott Bakula in his first post Quantum Leap role. Unfortunately the show just didn't click for me and I gave up after several episodes. The first time TO made a real impression on me was in GO!. I rented it when it was new, based on good buzz from Entertainment Weekly. But then I didn't see him in anything else for years. That was partly due to the job I worked back then that kept me either working or traveling constantly. Also, a number of TO's indie films never played in a movie theater outside the festival circuit. Even though I was there (so to speak) at the beginning of TO's filmed work, I feel like I didn't truly discover our guy in all his talented glory until recently. So I am new to the party and having a great time! ___________________________________________ I have to agree with the above posters that TO could be one of our finest character actors. Yes, he has leading man charisma. But given his choice of roles and his aversion to deja vu scenes and formulaic film-making, he seems like a character actor at heart. He craves a challenge. Though he probably does pass on westerns to avoid being typecast or feeling like he's repeating himself, I too would love to see him in a solid western. And sharing the screen with Sam Elliott ---- icing on the cake. Oh, and Mark Ruffalo is a personal favorite too. And you gals already know my affections for Russell Crowe run deep.

I liked the line about Grunge being passe. (I heart the early 90s and Grunge.) I've been wondering for quite some time if TO has had vocal training to make his voice sound deeper...

I've seen it all. Only TO thing I've never seen is High Incident. If anyone has links to those, I would LOVE to see it!! I have a couple little clips from Ellen Foster I recorded if you'd like to see crunchy granola TO. He's only in the whole movie for like 15 minutes. He plays Ellen's teachers husband. She lives with them for half a second while they sort out her custody.
Ellen Foster is something like a minute into this one.
I own Auggie Rose. He's super sexy in it. Plays a convict. Has the intimidating dillhole thing down.
I really liked his work in When Trumpets Fade. SO scary and sad. I recommend you see that if you haven't. The whole thing is on youtube in snippets. I bought everything I own from Amazon. The things I couldn't buy, I found online. I use Ubuntu so I don't get viruses though. It's pretty risky when downloading stuff. I own 1999, Advice, APGA, A Man, Beyond Suspicion (which is Auggie Rose), Catch and Release, Coastlines, Crazies, Dreamcatcher, Electra Luxx, Girl Next Door, Go, Gone in 60, High Life, Hitman, No 4, Live free, meet bill, no vacancy, rango, rockstar, safety of objects, scream, stoploss, when trumpets fade, and all of deadwood, all of justified and damages.
I was able to find Mr. and Mrs. Smith Pilot online. I had it downloaded but lost it with the last virus prior to Ubuntu. I can't seem to find it again. He was adorable... totally geeky-- that little clip with the goatee was the cool version of Scooby. He was all button down shirt, glasses, pocket protector for the rest of the episode. Just adorable. And his VOICE! Like a little kid. I noticed that in a few of his earlier parts. His voice definitely changed as he aged. I prefer the gravelly timbre of today to the squeaky surfer thing.

Oh. Forgot about this being a world-wide board for half a tick. Try an internet search for the things you can't buy. A lot of the stuff is there if you dig deep enough and if you have good enough virus protection to try links that seem suspicious.

Here's a suggestion-- IMDB has No Vacancy. Netflix has Head Over Heels on DVD. You can stream Scream 2, Coastlines, Meet Bill, No Vacancy, etc. Check it out guys.

All I have of High Incident is two grainy photos. Wanna see?? I'll share. Torturous knowing there is something TO left unseen, isn't it?? Gosh, plagues me. I should do "Tim Olyphant's Career in Pictures." I think I have at least one photo from every movie and show.

Well then, I am pretty lucky then I guess....I have 30 out of the 31 in my home collection...As Doppleganger is yet undownloadable for me....I also have Samantha who episode, My name is Earl episode, and The office guest spots...I also have Dinner for five....Along with all three seasons of Deadwood and Damages as well as Justified...(S1 & 2 on DVD --All three on my laptop).....I really wish I could get my hands on Night Realm and High Incident as well as Mr n Mrs Smith, but like my Kiefer collection, there are a few that are coveted and hard to find..... I get alot of DVD's cause they are easy to carry in my jumpbag and I can watch them and pause them in between going to Cardiac arrests and Motor Vehicle Accidents....Helps to keep my sanity at times too...And my partners and I have turns in movie choice...lol...I suffer through their Horror movies (Yikes!!), they suffer through my TO n KS phase....It's a win win.....LOl..Beats what's playing on the radio these days over and over again same song looped bullshit....

lg66, you are a true fan---watching in between disasters! LOL!
No one has mentioned his role as Sam on Sex and the City. Last weekend, there was a limited rerun of the first part of season one on the Style channel. I just let it run, and low and behold, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but "Valley of the Twenty-something Guys." Timothy's character was described by Carrie as " a great kisser." I concur.

Yeppers, he keeps me from losing my sanity...LOl...Sometimes my job gets a tad difficult...And I like to escape into another world...My partners like all that Saw and Final Destination crap....I'll admit the first final destination was cool from a medics standpoint...But I don't like to see sequels ruin a good thing...LOl....I got at least one partner hooked on Justified cause it ain't no run of the mill cop show...He rather likes our Raylan's Marshall....He had me laughing, he had a call a few days ago where the cops were trying to subdue his patient, and he said he wanted them to go all Raylan on him and taezzer his nutz...LOL....My partner is little (and a nut) and this guy was HUGE....
I have yet to see the Sex in the City episode except for the excerpt on youtube...I did wanna buy the first season, but I don't really much care for the rest of the show...And I can't find just that episode to download...And On IMDB it says now that TO was in THREE episodes of Samantha who..But didn't Billy Zane take over after that first one TO was in?? Anyone know???

To was only in the one episode of Samantha Who... it's called "The Boss" or something like that. He was dreamy. She said he smelled like cupcakes . He was too busy shooting something else to continue with that series. Billy Zane is the poor man's TO. You can certainly find Sex and the City online. I watched it streaming on some creeper website. I wouldn't buy a whole season for it, but it's definitely worth a viewing. And, I thought of some other things TO talks about that I've never seen. He said he was in the pilot of the remake of 77 Sunset Strip as Kookie. Never seen that. He also said he was in two commercials--- one for mini hamburgers, he ate one although it was shellacked with hair spray to look hot off the grill. The other was for bite sized hotdogs and it starred a Chinese pop star, TO and another NY actor. Never seen those either. Any leads, anyone?

He's prolly really good in the sack too...Lucky Mrs O....LOl... I imagine that too. Something ab0ut the way he moves makes me think that way. If he's really in anyway close to how he "acts" she is one LUCKY lady. I'll say it again, hat's off to her for getting anything done knowing that HE is right there in the other room, and a bed is just one locked door away.

Thanks Alpha, I have The Boss episode downloaded....And I'll search for the SitC one....I am not a girly girl all dolled up with acessesories type and all that other stuff they talk about and do is just not my cup of tea as the saying goes...I'm more practical down to Earth and I cannot wear makeup on the rig as it aides in infectious situations...So I learned in 20 odd years, not to wear it really at all unless at a wedding or some grand occassion....It's for the better of my skin anyways...Lol
Those commercials I believe he said only ran in China for a limited time....Even tho I think he made one here,..I could be wrong, but I know Kiefer did a commercial for an energy drink in the height of his 24 days and it only aired in China....

alphamare, I had no idea that there was a remake of 77 Sunset Strip! When was this? I was a fan of the original when I was a teenager. ( I might have been a mom when the remake happened and was so involved with that that I didn't watch a lot of TV.)
The original Kookie ( Edd Burns, Byrnes, I forget, the spelling, was a suave guy. I could see Timothy playing him, I guess. Just didn't know that it happened.

It didn't really happen.-- at least not for us to see. TO said in an interview they shot the pilot but it didn't get picked up and one of the big wigs pushing it-- I wanna say Clint Eastwood-- decided not to pursue it. There were other famous people in it. He says it was his first break, but I doubt it would ever see the light of day. Probably locked away in a vault somewhere collecting dust. This was prior to Mr and Mrs Smith. How HOT would TO be cruising in Kookies Kar? TO in a T-bucket? Dreamy.
