So...31 films so far (I have taken the list from IMDB, I haven't included tv-series and Shadow Realm, which is a compilation of a tv-series). My score is 23!

23 here! I'm missing 8? I'm shocked! Need the newest stuff. Rango, Number 4, Electra Luxx. And older, Augie Rose, 1999, Ellen Foster, Head Over Heels, When Trumpets Fade.

I'd better hurry then. Isn't Blockbuster closing this year?
I'm region 4. I got rid of my credit cards, so i haven't bought anything online in ages, lol (starving student). I might have to get back to that.

I got 'Hitman' for $5 in the bargain bin at HellMart today. It made it worth going into the Godforsaken place.

I think we need a thread on people we would like to see TO do a movie with. I don't know how to start a new thread though.
I thought of two: Mark Ruffalo (they'd be great in a buddy flick of some kind) and Sam Elliot. TO really must do some kind of a Western with Elliot as his father or older mentor. Elliot is tall, too, which I didn't realize.

Sam Elliot. A true cowboy. Best deep voice ever; love his Dodge Ram commercials I like that one. He was one of my Mom's crushes. Like him as the biker dude w/ Cher in The Mask . Now I'm thinking of some coincidences, Sam went gray really fast just like TO at about the same age. He also had a role as a lifeguard.

I don't know if Tim would like to do any more Westerns. Which is a shame, 'cause that's a great genre for him. But I would get him trying not to stay inside that box. I would still love him in a movie with Johnny Depp. It would be interesting if he did a Tim Burton movie. I was thinking about that when he was on Leno with Helena Bonham Carter. I LOVE her. I was thinking, "Go tell your man about this guy sitting next to you!" He can do more movies with Joe Anderson if only to make me smile. One where he actually interacts with Joseph Gordon Levitt too.
I would DIE if he did a Wes Anderson film. Just. Die.

Hell, Justified is a Western.
Really. I don't care what he does. I'll watch it.

Just came back from the theatre, saw Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Ian McShane was FANTASTIC.
And all was thinking was, "TO would be great in one these movies. TO for a role in PotC 5. TO dressed as a pirate."

I have trouble thinking of movie roles for him because I think he tends to be attracted to roles that are a little off center. I guess that makes them the most interesting to play. I can't believe it's a coincidence that he's played such a wide range of characters and they couldn't all have been just for the paycheck. Although I've read that he never really had a set plan for his acting career, I think it's really followed a fine path, with some really interesting smaller roles in more independent films. Strangely, I think one of his worst roles was in probably the biggest box office movie he's done, Live Free or Die Hard. He did the best he could with it, for sure, but that whole character was just some writer's bad idea, IMHO. Right now I think he probably has lots of offers and I'm curious to see what he does next.

Not sure if anyone will agree with me but I kinda see TO as a character actor.
Val Kilmer & Johnny Depp are fabulous at creating characters one simply can't forget.
I define a character actor as one who becomes... to the point that you remember the character before the actor.
Few females come to mind but I'll have to say Holly Hunter rules in this arena. in my opinion.
TO's choices, so far, leads me to believe he's way capable of this feat. Once he's settled a bit, garnered an award or two, proven his box office draw ability, hopefully those parts will start coming his way. Just feel he can own whatever role he chooses

I can see that. Even though Nick in Perfect Getaway was basically one of the leads, he was a character, not really a typical leading man kind of guy. He was quirky.
Trying to think of other women who do that thing well, obviously, Margo Martindale does. I never would've thought the sweet secretary in Secretariat would be good as a cold-blooded killer, but she was. Hmmm...Helen Mirren can do it. She was The Queen, and yet, just as believable (and funny) in those stupid Nick Cage history romps.
BTW...if anyone wants to share how to post an avatar pic and/or start a new thread, I'd appreciate it. I need private lessons!!

I heard Timothy turned down Iron Man. I think it would have been a fun role for him. I love RDJ, but I love Tim more. He has stayed away from mainstream stuff like that, which I kinda like.
I'd also like to see him with Paul Bettany and Sam Rockwell, two of my favorite underrated actors.

Jess, I LOVE Paul Bettany and think Sam Rockwell is cool.
I started out this whole fan thang by joining a jillion Russell Crowe email lists and boards. LOL I still love Russell but he's not my A #1 BF at this point.
