MCM I had already watched the whole season online the morning after you guys so I knew what happened but it was great to see it again.....although I have a feeling that they edited the scene where Raylan and Winona shoot the gun thug....I'm sure it was longer when I saw it before, I'll need to check that out when I get the DVD.

I am so ashamed. What kind of a fan am I? I started re-watching season 4 from the beginning a few nights ago. I actually fell asleep part way through. I should be drawn and quartered!

I should be drawn and quartered! .......Drawn and quartered and diced and minced! Heavens, you must have been really tired. If we're making public confessions of our infidelity to TO, I've been an absolute slut for George Peppard this past week. I don't know what brought that on, but I've been binging on my favorite Peppard films.... something I haven't done in years.

I have been going thru the DVDs from the beginning...I am up to Season 3, "Guy Walks into a Bar". One of my favorites of S3. So many great Raylan scenes!
I'm trying to make this viewing last awhile, one episode at a viewing...also enjoying listening to the commentaries by various parties. Also, watched High Life last night, the best movie role for TO IMHO.

It's a long time until January!

andliv, the sad part is that I don't know when I fell asleep.I woke up later to a blank screen. But never fear, I will go back and pick up where I left off. A little drowsiness will not deter me from TO. I WILL finish the season!
kentuckygal, I can understand the George Peppard fixation. He was one gorgeous man back in the day. What films have you been watching?

I had to watch the Season 4 finale with my husband last night, he missed it on Wednesday because he was watching his beloved Celtic play, so I felt OBLIGED to watch it with him! He absolutely loves this programme and thinks Raylan is the coolest dude on the planet. He is also appalled that the show has not won an Emmy. Dolphin I am about to start watching the pilot episode again :-)

They did run marathons all thru May and June on Comcast and I watched every minute. Started with all of season 4, then after they did season two and followed with season three and finally one more run of all of season 4..."Ghosts" has become one of my favorites...him sitting in that chair with Arlo's fresh grave and his stone and the way his fingers moved..way he just had the look. Left you thinking "what is going on in your head Marshal Raylan Givens?" Marathons are such a kick.

Also, watched High Life last night, the best movie role for TO IMHO. I would agree with this. High Life is pretty much my favourite TO film, closely followed by A Perfect Getaway.

Depending on the joiners' schedules we have 52 episodes and Aug-Jan to watch and discuss. I think by now I sadly know each episode but in rewatching can still catch a moment that I missed or misunderstood...that is what I love most. Watching it again it is like new all over again...like her classic "you are the angriest man" yet really is he? Only time he got angry with her was in dealing with that 5-finger discount of the 211,000 instead of the 100 dollars...but he did not rant...just went to fix... Our Raylan is a quiet hero.

I don't think she necessarily meant angry with her...just that beneath the surface, Raylan has a lot going on, and much of it is anger. In the home he grew up in, how could it not be?

That was supposed to be a "leading line" and over 52 episodes..he makes angry seem sexy. Thinking back to his stop at Boyd's bar to get Boyd to take him to Nicky...he was for sure angry but it was like a controlled rage...unlike Boyd. He lets his anger explode. Just ask Devil. Just ask Johnny. Then replay Raylan...the man is just sexy cool rage.

I'll be glad to watch from the beginning starting tonight with the pilot. Are we going to do this together? One episode at a time...slow...and discuss?

andiiv, I agree about Perfect Getaway too, he practically stole the show...it was a pretty weird plot but he made it so much better... I could watch the "Nicko" parts over and over....

Thought I'd mention to Denis Leary Fans. Both 'The Job' and 'Rescue Me' are on Netflix.
