There was an article in my morning paper today about this show. Was hoping it might mention future guests stars, but it didn't. The show starts on Tuesday, I believe, if anyone wants in on the beginning. I might give it a try. Definitely will tune in for the Tim episode.

The AMC projected Elmore Leonard was jokingly casting Walton as the bad guy and yes our beloved Timothy as the good guy. Look it up on uproxx.com. then TNT is casting a pilot using the producers from Justified.... Same source for those who want more.

Doesn't it seem weird that the cameo will be Tim playing himself when the thing is set in Idahoe? ( Dan Quayle spelling of Idaho, Hee)

Himself?more an actor like the role Rob Lowe is doing. I miss the Raylan type role that has depth....that man can do depth with just a simple glare.or sexy walk or stance with hands on hips...

He's also a natural-born comedian. I'm looking foreword to seeing him do something different.

He is a thing of beauty, Isn't he?
On another topic; I've got to say, I never really was a Rob Lowe fan. At all! He annoyed me was he was the heartthrob of my generation in that brat-pack era. I thought he was a no talent pretty boy. Then later in life he got caught in a 3 some with some underage girls, how do you recover from that? I think he claimed sex addict or something like that?
Then within the last few years I saw him in a very introspective interview with and also with his current wife. He seams to be completely recovered and put his demons to rest. I've got to say I like the guy now. His commercial for direct TV was hysterical and his stint on Austin powers are young number 2 was great.

I never cared for the brat-pack era Rob Lowe, either. But I was not aware of him recently, except for the Direct TV commercials. obviously he doesn't take himself too seriously...which is fun. I meant to watch "the Grinder" this week but missed it...I'll try again, cause you know I won't miss the TO episode... Found 2 more photos... Do you think he's done filming the Mother's Day movie? He has a different look now...

OMG. I am so going to enjoy this episode.
We watched the premier. It was pretty funny. I've never been a Rob Lowe fan, either, but I must've seen a similar interview, MCM, and I was also impressed. Fred Savage is very funny in the show, too. I loved The Wonder Years.

I just watched the first episode of "the Grinder" online...I liked it a lot more than I thought I would and laughed out loud at some of the Rob Lowe stuff...he's good at making fun of himself in this...I can imagine, after seeing the TO photos on the beach, that they will make a funny episode...finally a chance for TO to do some outright comedy...I look forward to it.

Omg those pictures are great. Remember our boy was a swimmer of note and maybe a surfer for real? After that skateboard thing he did on Mindy project nothing surprises me! He looks wonderfully sexy!

I don't think we get Grinder but I will certainly try to get it online. I have missed all those pics of him in the tabloid news over here MCM thank you for them. Rob Lowe has never been one of my favourites....far too pretty but he is in a new show which started here last night, it's a joint British/ American programme for Sky, something about the Apocalypse (I think it's a comedy). Timothy is looking mighty fine

Nice pictures. Tim with no shirt...the nipples...I'll take an order of two, please! I watched the premiere of Grinder and it was very funny. I really enjoyed the show. I used to have a huge crush on Rob Lowe about twenty years ago, not so much now. But, he's very funny in his new show. I think TO's humor will blend well with Rob's character, who is very dramatic and a bit cheesy. I really hope TO gets his own comedy. He'd kill it.

Forgot to say I did hear a nice Fred Savage interview on NPR this week talking about his return to series TV. Might be on NPR website. I forgot to add how much I've missed Fred Savage. Glad he's back on television. He has a dry kind of humor in The Grinder that works well with Rob Lowe's overly dramatic character.
