I don't know. While I would love to see Tim back on television, I don't want to see him do a regular stint on network television. Network television can really pigeon hole an actor. By the way, Tim is hard at work...in New Orleans for the Jazz Fest. He's enjoying his time off. twitter.com/hashtag/timothyolyphant

I think TO has probably gotten pretty used to a cable schedule and the freedom that goes with it. Since he's popped up on other shows though, I wouldn't be opposed to a 'guest stint'. Maybe on Denis Leary's new FX gig? Glad he's enjoying his break. He really likes that hat, doesn't he? Maybe he's just gotten used to wearing one.

I do see your points. But he needs heavy exposure and something from Shonda carries fame. I respect his choices but the exposure would open so many doors. Plus we get to see him more...and he has never been a doctor. I doubt anything like this will come his way! Guess we all miss him. We know Walton got a new series. Wonder about Joelle? He should be getting more offers....or do I mean...accepting offers!!!!

Also, check your messages, far left at the top... 'book...I am talking to you!! (Trust me. You really want to check your messages!)

Just an idea...not far fetched but.... Greys Anatomy took a bold move and killed half of the lead couple...namely Mcdreamy!!!! What would it hurt to cast sexy timothy as her new love interest? The money is great. The creator/writer is brilliant and the show is consistently in the top ten. Gives him work, exposure and money. Keeps him home! And..... So tell me what all you think? I used to watch that show in the first two or three seasons and lost interest with all the crazy pairings and random decisions...I guess for drama, you can't just have happily together couples... But it's not where I would want to see TO go...I feel like he needs something much "smarter" and would likely do well on another cable show, rather than a network show (ABC, CBS, NBC.) Although I remember when he was interviewed on the set of the Office...he was pretty impressed with them and I think he would have jumped onboard if offered.

I too loved Grey's Anatomy when it first came out and stayed with it for about 3 seasons but I lost interest. There are very few programmes I have stayed with til the bitter end, Dexter being one of them and boy was I disappointed.

I just want him back on the tube. As I have said his movies are a curious mix and he isn't getting lead roles. Guess I got spoiled by him being the number one on Justified. I just need to hear he has any work coming his way!!!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing him in a great role on another cable show. Probably something other than a law enforcement type. TPTB need to see him stretch, which we all know he can do. (This Is Where I Leave You, A Perfect Getaway, Coastlines, etc.)These were all movies, but he can do it on cable too. I don't mind if his movie roles are of the supporting type. If he is good, he will be noticed. I look forward to his role in the Snowden movie. It may not be a box office bonanza, due to its content, but there are movies that are rewarded for their gravitas. He is at a turning point and has to choose carefully. No more films like Go and The Girl Next Door. As quirky as his roles in these films were, he is an adult talent now, and way beyond what that type of role offers. (I actually don't think he would even consider that kind of fluff anymore. It is beneath him.) He may even have to wait a while for just the right thing. We would be deprived of seeing him temporarily, but it could pay of if the role is right.

After 8 episodes have aired, I finally got caught up on Battle Creek on CBS. Created by Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad, The X Files) and David Shore (House) . . . it's a quirky, funny procedural starring TO look-a-like Josh Duhamel as a Ken Doll, stick-up-his-butt FBI Agent paired with an acerbic, down-and-out local detective played by Dean Winters. Regulars include Dewey Crowe (Damon Herriman)! And Kal Penn from House. Guest stars have included Candace Bergen, Patton Oswald! Loretta McCready's Daddy (Chris Mulkey), Kenneth from The Money Trap (Michael Gladis). Choo Choo even makes and appearance in episode 2. Lots of guest actors from House as well. It took several episodes for it to grow on me, but it's finding it's footing. I'll tune in Sunday night and hope that it's renewed for another season. TO would be awesome as a guest star playing Josh Duhamel's no good scoundrel older brother . . . counter to the straight laced FBI Boy Wonder. There's a lot of mystery to the background of Duhamel's character, so it could easily be done. Candace Bergen played Dean Winters' felon, con artist mother, and it played pretty funny.
