Hey, what happened to this website????

I called it up n no gif of our smiling TO answering the door...
The page looks very generic, bland, missing something...
And when I went to log in, proboards took me someplace else entirely
And had me UPGRADE my log in...HUH??? Mcm, what happened?

I know. It did the same with me. I liked the old one better as well, but it might be because I knew how to navigate it and it WAS easier to navigate IMHO. BIG sigh. Don't make things harder for an old broad. We don't likey.

It sucks. Where's the 'recent posts' button? That's the one I always used to hit to keep up to date on who was talking.

Did anybody actually ask for this re-design or was it thrust upon us? How about moving to Yuku? They don't fuck about with formats.

No, it's ProBoards. I'm on another board and we've been warned we're going to go through a change. Evidently, this is it.

Other than the emotiocons being gone, everything appears to be here except ... for the Youtube button. That's probably because of Youtube.

UPDATE: I found my beloved emotioncons. You just click on the smiley face and a drop down box appears.

That's how I navigated the Board too. I did find this... From the HOME page, go to the bottom and click "Recent Threads" and you will get the old recent posts thread. Unfortunately, so far, I have to go back to HOME and then BACK to Recent Threads at the bottom. What a pain!

There is a recent threads and recent posts link on the bottom of the home page.

MCM will probably have to redo the TO picture (or create another) when she has some time.

I agree, I like the other format better, but it's gone.

I've been playing around with the site.

I found my beloved emotiocons (click on the smiley face, there's even some new ones). And you can insert a Youtube video and others by pasting and then highlighting the link, then click on the movie clipboard icon. It's actually easier than the old way.

The board looks weird, but I think we can get used to it, if we give it some time. TO is worth it.

Its much easier to navigate via mobile, but it's rather bland. Generic looking. Luckily I had the "recent posts" link already bookmarked so I dont have to mess with finding another link!

I found a way to access new threads, at the top of the page under your login details it says "participated" if there are new posts it says "new participated" click on that and a box appears with any new posts in it

A couple of months ago we were told that changes would be made to the site. I guess this is it. FX has screwed us up, and now big changes at ProBoards. I'll do what I have to do, but it will take getting used to. I'm one of those "old dogs" that are hard to teach new tricks to, so I don't know how well I will adapt. Technology is changing faster than I am able to.I wish I was 21 again.

Hang in there, Monday! TO is worth it and it wouldn't be the same around here with you. I know I would be mighty sad if you stopped coming here.

Just give it some time. Unlike the FX board, this one actually works, and we've all been together for a while now and discuss stuff we'd never discuss over at FX.

I'm actually going to post Avatar instructions here because it's changed for the better, it's easier.

1. Go to PROFILE at the top of the site and click.
2. Click on the EDIT PROFILE.
3. Click on the AVATAR tab.
4. Easiest one is to select the USE ONLY UPLOADED/LINK option.
5. On same line, click on the link that says UPLOADED/LINK.
6. On popup screen click the SELECT IMAGE button and find the image you want on your computer. Click 'OPEN' to close the window.
7. Click SAVE AVATAR CHANGES button.

To add a SIGATURE or change your STATUS, click on the PERSONAL tab and edit your information. Be sure to SAVE.
