Can't seem to shut my Justified passion off. I have no answer to my favorite...is it among the sizzle of any/all Raylan Boyd scenes? The sexiness of any female with Raylan? Or the passion of Raylan and Winona? Or Willa...OMG I loved his fatherhood scenes....Tim and Raylan? Art and Raylan?
So I am opening this up to those who still miss the show too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was it that last prison scene shared with Boyd? Was it the first time Arlo pointed his gun at Raylan in the first season finale?
I'll come back and hopefully find some replies....

I do so love the one where he is eating ice cream in the final scene with his daughter and Winona. He looks after them both so wistfully as they walk away. I wanted them to be a family at the end, but the final scene with Walton at the prison was also priceless. But then I did love every single scene with Tim back to the first one and up to the last My fave all-time scenes, though, are from his episode of the Mindy Project where he has the long hair and has to take his shirt off, of course Don't even get me started on The Perfect Getaway

This is Raylan favorite!!!! If we can also do a movie thread.....it would move this long hot summer along.... Catch and Release scenes are among my favs in that category.
I agree with the ice cream with Willa scene...."sand that a dog pooped in" she is every bit her father's kid!!!!!
But it is those tense arlo stuff....from our first real meeting in episode five season one....to that final as he stands alone in the yard and we sense his emotions looking at his own gravestone. No words....just pure emotion... like I say....picking one won't come easy.

I can't pick a favourite, there's too many!!
Just a few in no particular order:
Raylan in the woods holding a gun to Dickie Bennett's head, explaining what Aunt Helen meant to him.
Art realising Raylan is dating Winona - "ha ha ha! and I thought sleeping with a witness was stupid!"
Every scene with Raylan & Arlo. The way Raylan loses his cool when Arlo's around, the way he tucks Arlo in bed in the hospital (1st season), the one where he overhears Arlo talking to Raylan the boy and doesn't realise he's got dementia. Suppressing grief when Arlo's dying.
Carrying the baby around.

Everyone you mentioned warmed my heart. Loved when Winona came to his room...removed the wedding ring and bedded our willing marshal. That resigned look as she dressed and replaced her ring defines his acceptance of their love and terms of that love. And so agree that scene in the woods was so moving!!!!! His love of Helen and his anger at dickie for killing her!!!! So perfectly done!

Some of my favourites:
I always enjoyed Raylan's scenes with Dewey Crowe - loved the scene in 'Thick as Mud' when Dewey thinks he has 4 kidneys! I was hoping Dewey would make it out of the series alive!
Any scene with Raylan & his fellow marshals - Art, Rachel, Tim definitely had Raylan's number -loved the sass!
Raylan's scenes with Arlo and Helen gave us a glimpse into the Givens family and what shaped Raylan.
And to be predictable! Any scene with Raylan & Winona/Raylan & Winona & Willa.

Even five month old Willa with the new daddy was special. I loved that screaming scene with Winona and raylan and Willa "voicing her discontent" gosh that baby was beautiful.

so many. Definitely the one in season six where Winona says she wants him just as he is (duh) and they make out on the bed. If there were an Emmy category for kissing, the man would have to buy a larger house to keep his awards.
But I also really, really love the tablecloth pulling scene they did with "Ice Pick" and how cool that was. Especially because I read TO came up with it and that he had a friend over for the weekend while they came up with ideas of how to move the gun. They had that "behind the scenes" video on that scene and I loved everything about it. So cool, so Raylan.

Three big Justified scenes are credited to Timothy!!!!! The one where Danny Crowe "kills himself in the dog grave" was all Timothy and they had a hard time filming cause Timothy cracked up laughing every time. And in "Kin" the scene where Raylan handcuffs Boyd around the tree and the classic lines were also Timothy. Tablecloth is a classic...like he said he is a combo of being a "pain in the ass" and a "cheerleader"
And I agree he is a wonderful kisser....he was magic with all his ladies...with Natalie they just had a magic.....Winona just could not get enough Raylan....

OK I'm going to cheat now and cite a deleted scene from Season 4 dvd.
Raylan and Winona are in her kitchen. Winona is cooking, Raylan is reading a newspaper, reading out houses for sale that might be suitable for them. Winona asks Raylan to pass the peppercorns. Raylan throws the jar to Winona, but she's not expecting it. The jar crashes into the toaster, peppercorns everywhere, Raylan looks sheepish and says 'that's my bad', and leaves the room. Winona's left looking nonplussed.
The scene is funny but also rather sad as it shows how though they love each other they're not on the same wavelength.

I'd love to see that deleted scene - it's not on the DVD I have. We didn't really get to see Raylan & Winona in many 'normal' everyday scenes. I wonder why Raylan was checking out houses for them when they'd been living apart since mid season 3.

That might explain it - I don't have blu rays, just regular DVDs of seasons 1-4. I remember the short scene outside the coffee shop where they were discussing the house hunting.

It sounds like a fun scene and Tim's sense of humor is my fave thing about him that he brings to Raylan in mnay funny ways My big wish for the finale was to have Raylan and Winona married and happy and enjoying their lives after all they went through over the years. Does anyone else have any fave deleted scenes?

Think with Ava in hiding and Boyd in prison...they just felt all three paid a price. Raylan did get the one thing...he is Willa's daddy in the way he ached to be. And be honest....that sexual tension between Raylan and Winona was so obvious. Poor Richard will one day find out just how much that love just will not end.
Plus it does leave an opening if they do a Justified movie.

Read this and a smile of remembrance made me want to share it:
The Show:Justified, Season 5, Episode 4
The Moment: The conversating
U.S. Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) enters the bar owned by his old frenemy, career criminal Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins). “I’m afraid you caught us with a closed sign up,” Boyd says.
“Allow me a moment to collect my wits such to reply,” Raylan says. “I’m overcome trying to factor how many weapons you, a felon, are armed with.”
“I’m not armed as such,” Boyd protests. “Just transporting this legally procured hunting implement from point A to point B.”
“We have a more pressing concern,” Raylan says. “I understand Wade Messer worked principally for you.”
“Your use of the past tense gives me some sense of foreboding,” Boyd says.
“The man’s wandered some off the radar,” Raylan says.
“And what leads you to surmise he has continued affiliation with me?” Boyd asks.
This conversating (as folks ’round here call it) meanders on for some while. Eventually it lands on what Raylan wants, Messer’s cellphone number.
On other shows, this scene would be two lines long. But Justified comes most deliciously alive when these two are in a room together, circling each other like lazy mountain lions. It’s the Olympics of who can drawl more softly, spin prettier prevarications, eyeball each other more calmly.
Nothing establishes Justified’s backwoods Kentucky mise-en-scène better than its dialogue. Right away, you know who its characters are: people who don’t read many books but have one in common, the Bible. Their affiliations are tribal, but they speak the language of sermons. Their dialogue is a character all its own.

You ladies are all so amazing. I have a mind like a sieve. I had it even before I was 100 years old. I remember feelings and ideas of things, but a list of scenes....never.
However, this makes me realize that I have to get my DVDs out and just watch the dang show over again. Too bad!!

Like rewatching is bad? ?? Just one good Raylan and Boyd scene and I am smiling all day. Or a sexy Raylan and Winona and I am really smiling.
