Mare, hope the treatment goes well and isn't too unpleasant. Glad to know that your family look out for you.

Hello Mare, although you do not know me as such I would like to send you my very best wishes and good luck for your treatment, and a little encouragement if I may . My cousins wife had a similarly bizarre episode that turned out to be a brain tumour. In her case she suddenly began having periods of time when she thought she was waving her arms around in the air but when she looked her arms were by her side, like you she then lost her memory and was found in the local library.
After examination, she too was diagnosed with a brain tumour and underwent similar therapy. That was 18 months ago and she is now back to work and doing fine, although on medication. It must be a terrible shock and I cant even imagine how confusing, but you will prevail and you will be well again Im sure, it takes time and patience and support from loved ones ( which you obviously have )but you will be yourself again. Take care. x

Hi Mare Although you don't know me as such I would like to`send my heartfelt good wishes to you for a speedy recovery and if I may, a little hope for the journey ahead. A member of my own family was diagnosed with a brain tumor after similarly bizarre experiences. In her case she was convinced she was waving her arms around in the air uncontrollably but looking down could see them firmly by her side, unnerving to say the least. This continued to become more frequent followed by memory loss and sometimes speaking in French ... I kid you not. Eventually she confided in someone and sought medical help and a diagnosis was made. The treatment was very similar to yours from your description, and I wont tell you it was a breeze but I will tell you it is absolutely worth it,this was about 8 months ago and with the love and support of friends and family ( which you clearly have )she is now back to work and her beloved sports and smiling again. I wish this for you Mare and that your treatment is brief and your recovery every bit as good. Take care x

Mare...without prying...treatment for? You are in my prayers.and Timothy is so hot now I am sure there will be many chances for you to see him! Just get well. I am being treated for a brain tumor...I have radiation/chemo starting on Wed, for 21 days. My family found me in NYC hospital, no id, no plane ticket, no luggage, no memory of attending HOTMD! I was supposed to arrive back in MN on 3/31, but I was not on the plane! It was a heroic effort that led them to find me and bring me home. I wish I could remember, maybe after treatment? This is the most bizarre thing I have been thru. Thank goodness for son/sister/ex-husband who all stepped up to help me. Feeling pretty good, waiting for Wed! Thanks for asking! Mare - prayers for you! It happens that my friend's husband is also undergoing treatment for a brain tumor. He had surgery, and is about halfway through his six weeks of treatment. He's doing well. Here's hoping the same for you!! Keep us in the loop.
