Omg so many but I'll list one of mine..in Kin when they come off the mountain and talk about drew Thompson and best man...and Raylan suggests they shake and he cuffs Boyd and leaves him stuck around that tree. Boyd says I don't like you Raylan and his response "I never liked you"
Loved that one. Yeah I am missing the show....like the rest of you.

First thought is the one in season 6 when Raylan comes to see Boyd and Ava, while Walker is hiding in the house...He says, Part of me is gonna miss this when it's over...Love that whole scene. Season six is seriously in a special category!!! Every scene was electric as it built to the end. I just thought reliving six wonderful seasons of those two would be healing for those who are missing Justified.

So many of them to choose from, but one of my most favorites is Season 3, the Raylan and Boyd brawling in the conference room scene. Like two adolescent boys fighting over an apology. Classic.
Good thread idea ripetebook!

Yeah love that one...heck I love them all. Those two bring magic to Raylan and Boyd. Isn't the one you like ended with Raylan coming thru the glass wall into art's office just as Art was discussing Raylan's gsw!!!! Ha ha.

Maybe this thread should go by season...cause every scene they do leaves a lasting impression. In all honesty there was never a bad scene shared! They are magic! Can't wait to read other posts!!!!

Truthfully it is hard to imagine anything better than the last scene. My second favorite scene might also be a jail scene from season two. I used a quote from it way back when on FX when we started the "Who Said it" Game. It was shot beautifully in an extreme close up on Tim and Walton's eyes as Boyd turned Raylan's interrogation into forcing Raylan to be introspective. It is the scene where Boyd insinuates that Raylan became a LEO because Arlo was a criminal. Raylan says "I am not entirely unaware of my motivations in life" or something like that. Season two was magic. As for my avitar; I've been home sick from work for a couple of days so I've been playing around. ;-) Here's one of my other favorites, Was it season 4?

Wasn't that from the finale of season four? And crazy as it seems I cannot recall the name! And I so agree that was a hot scene. Ava had her hand on a shotgun ready to again shoot Raylan! It took place in the bar!
The scenes in the truck as Boyd drove Raylan to meet up with nick....omg that was tense yet so like them....and ends with Boyd calling Raylan "cowboy".
Love your new avatar! I particularly loved that episode....Raylan was just beginning to show how lost he was becoming.

I had to go to S2 and find that scene...it was in Blindspot, where Ava got shot at and Raylan went to see Boyd in prison...Loved those closeups of eyes and lips, moving about as they each spoke...that was beautifully done and the dialog was wonderful. Of course, I ended up watching the whole episode...TO was especially yummy as Raylan in this one, so handsome...less "hat" in this one and those shoulders in that jean jacket...oh my! And yes, that was Season 4 in your clips...loved this scene and later the two of them in the car, Boyd taking Raylan to see Nicky...I wondered if Boyd would use what he knew about that night later on, coming back to get raylan...and he tried, but it didn't work, did it?

That scene from season one "Blindspot" was one I loved cause Raylan lost his cool. Pushed by Boyd he came over that table and was dragged out to calm down. Just loved seeing the cool badass just loose that tight in control veneer. A rarity for Raylan!!!!!

I added the gifs of Raylan, above. I had a theory about that scene, one of two things. Either they chopped it up in editing, with Raylan jumping over the table at Boyd at the commercial break and then going back in, (after a scene checking back in with the assassin, played by Ray McKinnon) - as it aired. Or, they shot only the first half, like how it looked so much that they sent Raylan back in for a rewrite convo with Boyd. Now I'm adding the gifs here, just because I can. lol

You think they never meant what? Your post confuses me. To me Boyd played Raylan til his cool just snapped and the anger of attacking Boyd over the table was the result. Loved them showing that Boyd controlled the conversation and Raylan's emotions. More of his demons faced upon his forced return to Kentucky. Funny in that last season that initial theme was almost...changed. When Art says he was asked back to get Boyd I was like what? I thought he was sent back as punishment for the way he took Tommy buck down....a classic Raylan scene.

i think it was either meant to be one scene, with the leap over the table at the end.
Either the commercial forced them to re configure it into two scenes; or the scene was originally shorter, only the first half that end with the leap over the table, then the second half was added in a rewrite.
Just my suspicion.

I always love the longer conversations that they had. They always bring up the past and there is such a contrast between that and what they are now doing. Once friends, now adversaries. Two that I loved: Raylan coming to see Boyd at his "church" in the very first episode, and the last episode of that season when they are in the car headed for Bulletville. In season one, we see how two guys who dug coal together have lives that have diverged tremendously, but they end up helping each other when the chips were down.

Well stated!!!! And in the end that bond remained! Raylan could have done what Boyd said and sent the letter or had anyone tell him but he knew only his words would be effective. I do believe Boyd bought the story hook line and sinker because it came from Raylan!!!!!
