Hi folks! I'm new here and I've been going through all the old threads. I read on one of the boards that no one here has seen the eps of High Incident in which TO appeared and I made an account just to let y'all know that someone is uploading the entire show to youtube in fairly decent quality no less.
So far there's only one of the three eps with TO (they're uploading the eps in random order), but it looks like in time the others will be there, too.
This is the first of the three (S2E21) so 22 and 23 should follow at some point. It's quite a good show generally!
Enjoy!

LOL A young TO as a green 'Boot' who makes mistake after mistake. Hopefully, he wises up or you can tell where this is going.

God knows we needed something new, now that Justified is gone! LOL! He looked wonderful, right! But the voice killed me, in the squad room scene, he sounded so young! I'm thinking this was 1997, right, the same year that Scream 2 came out. Wow, who would guess, looking at Officer Faraday, that he would morph into Seth Bullock and Raylan Givens! Hope the other 2 episodes of this show turn up on YouTube, would love to see them...Thanks again for posting and welcome to the site!

If you haven't already found this and listened to it, I would highly recommend! A radio/online interview that is an hour and 20 minutes long, with Tim speaking about Justified, Deadwood, early days in NY where he tried stand-up comedy and the life of an actor in general...It is wonderful. nerdist.com/nerdist-podcast-timothy-olyphant/Have a great day!

Just wish there was real news on Timothy!!!! Wasn't that fun to listen to! that was from 2013... I am missing everyone here too...there is not as much to write and read about these days...but I find myself still checking here daily and looking for old posts of interest and especially following some of the fanfiction. I can't let go of this obsession...I can't get enough... Hoping for news soon of a new acting job for TO and of course for some love from the Emmys...I imagine he is playing some charity tennis and enjoying the family during this downtime. Back to the real world, time to mow and plant and pull weeds...It's a beautiful Sunday here, hope you are having same! Tonight I will start watching Deadwood...again...

Wish FX would repeat seasons of Justified...like AMC does BB and MM. And walking dead. They run Archer on fxx so why not Justified? ? Where in where is the justice? ?

Occasionally FX has run repeats of Justified, but it's usually after midnight showings, like 1:00 or 2:00 am when most folks are asleep.

Wow, that was quite a find, squeegee! Thank you! He was really cute in the episode. But what a boyish and nasally voice! Do you suppose he worked with a voice coach after hearing himself in early film and TV projects? If so, it was a smart move careerwise. Because that is not the voice of the man who went toe to toe with Al Swearengen, earning the Bad Man's respect as an equal. Thanks so much for the podcast link, mare27. I'll have to check that out too during our post- Justified drought.

To help with the bad case of TO withdrawal...I am now watching Deadwood...oh man! Loving it all over again...and starting to line up the TO-starring DVDs for when that is done.... what should be next, Coastlines?, Perfect Getaway? Hitman? Damages 2nd season? I think, High Life~ Love Dick and Donnie... at least there ARE options! Little eye candy?

My choice would be Perfect Getaway. That one never gets old. And Timothy is so sexy in that movie.

For me it is catch and release! Love that he used his real mother's maiden name. And that kiss in the bait shop....talk about sexy....and the last line "what took you so long" does it for me every time...gray sort of reminds me of Winona!!!!!!!

The kiss, the ending scene...and so many small bits throughout! I could watch it again and again.

I love The Crazies. (He is gorgeous.) Coastlines, A Perfect Getaway (who couldn't love his awesome character,)and Catch and Release. Deadwood is a whole other subject..so different from all his other roles up to that point and a great set up to Justified, although I liked Raylan Givens more than Seth Bullock. I am so anxious to see his next roles. I think he knows what he has to do from here on out. This is true for a lot of actors, I think. The earlier roles can be hit or miss until they reach the point where they know what they have to do and what roles are best for them. My favorite actors have hit their stride in their forties. Can't wait to see what's next for Timothy.

Should we post more about our favorite TO film roles, including favorite scenes, lines, or co-stars? There are quite a few to pick from... One of my favorites is in High Life, as Dick, when he is describing the scene of his son finding him "lying in the driveway in a fetal position and doesn't even recognize his dad." And also describing the bank robbery while sitting in the diner..."this plan is so perfect"...were there ever 4 more delusional drugged out petty criminals, in any movie anywhere?

Wow, what a fantastic find Squeegee! Welcome to the board.
Some where buried deep in this forum is a poll about what TO roles has everyone seen. I think High Incident was the only thing that we had not seen, so this is icing on the cake for some of us.
After watching the whole episode, what strikes me is...how 90's it is! Wow. it's so clean and tidy compared to today's drama, even on "non-pay" or "network" channels. I have HBO,SHO, MAX and STARS so I'm a little bit used to the more gritty stuff in general, but this reminds me that we've either made progress as a society, able to finally stay from our puritanical censors, or we are going straight to hell. LOL. Depending on your point 'o view.
T0 was wet behind the ears indeed. Listen to his voice. It doesn't even sound like our gravelly Tim. He sounds nasally. Either a vocal coach intervened or just maturity changed his voice; Or possibly just yelling at 3 kids since this was made? Think about that nature show that Tim voiced; or the video game, it doesn't sound like the same man at all.
His role as a young screw up was, shall we say, of it's time. A bit predictable, but o.k., it was cute. I want to see his dog.
I thought the content was, as I said, dated. And lecturey. Don't be a prostitute, girls, cause you'll be haunted by it forever. Oooh never heard that one before. Just like one day, I was like, oops, I took money for sex. I think prostitution is an absolute last resort for desperate women on the edge of survival, shamed, rejected and forgotten by "civilized" society. And shame on you upper middle class Johns for cheating on your elegantly coiffed wife just because she won't blow you! Tisk tisk. I can't stand 90's moral allegory. I'm so glad today's characters are deeper than this.
The traumatized Rape Victim was a weepy caricature of some man's old idea of how women respond to rape. Today on SUV the Victim gets up in court, points at the perp, looks him in the eye and says "Die Screaming, Motherfucker".
Enough of that before I get lecturey.
The other cast- I think we should have 6 degrees of Matt Craven because he's been in everything! I just love that guy. Truly, I've never seen a bad performance by him, even is ridiculous material. He's probably one of the most prolific character actors around and rightfully so. FYI: The most ridiculous role I've ever seen him in was 1993's Indian Summer; a piece where a bunch of adults go back to a summer camp run by Alan Arkin. It's not supposed to be a comedy, but it is.
Blair Underwood Post LA Law and pre-Sex and the City; ( Silly, silly Amanda!) Always yummy, always great, what more can you say? I'd like to see the man in something meaty More often, like when he played Jackie Robinson.
The great Dick Gregory. What a treat to see him in a twilight role. Actor, Civil Rights leader and philanthropist.
David Keith- I never see him, even now, with out thinking of an Officer and a Gentlemen, where he was betwixt by a woman. I just read IMDB on him and it says he now lives in Nashville, his home town, while still popping up every now and then on TV or in the movies.
Everyone else- What struck me was all of the young actors who seemed vaguely familiar, like the guy who played the rapist, but who never materialized into constantly working actors. How sad. Just a reminder that for every one who makes it, thousands do not.
I felt like this was a neat time capsule that reminded me why I like Justified, True Detective, and Fargo so much!

Yes, I think that poll was exactly where I read that nobody had seen it! I really hope the other two eps will be up soon ... Of course the show is dated, but taking that into account I thought it's quite good. I liked the female police ...person/chief/whatever she was. And although I agree with you about the caricature, I'm not sure in how far today's standards of representation will be looking unacceptable in a few years or even represent a majority's experience today. Nothing is ever definitively a "correct" representaion of something, and watching this I was aware I was watching an "older American show" but it didn't make me uncomfortable. Just my 2 cents, I'm not trying to argue and I don't actually disagree with you at all
