Man oh man. Have any of you read any of the fan fictions by freshouttaideas, on the fanfiction.net site. She writes beautifully. Not only are her stories Justified worthy, she also completely understands the characters so their dialogue is absolutely spot on. You truly can hear them saying the words and picture their facial expressions while they're speaking. The woman is a genius. Most of the stories are Gutterson based but Raylan features in quite a few, and Art in most. Having read most of them , I'm a bit irked that Graham Yost didn't give Gutterson more story lines. I would of loved to see Jacob act some of the scenes this talelented lady had written. My my only word of warning is don't start reading one of her multi chartered stories, if you're pushed for time. Don't think you'll be able to make do with a chapter or two and then stop. This will not happen! Her stories drag you into them. ( I've had a few very late nights and missed appointments because I've been The other thing I found is Jacob singing , yes Gutterson can sing. It's Jacob singing under the guise of Young Man on Acid doing a very pared down , slow version of Annie Lennox's Walking on Broken Glass. Ignore the very beginning.. The end will kill you. It's gorgeous and full of feeling. Hope the link works, if not just google Young man on Acid , walking on Broken Glass and you'll find it soundcloud.com/youngmanonacid

mare, I never would have guessed that this was Jacob Pitts if I had just heard it out of the blue with no intro from you. His voice is very unusual---not like so many today who sound so alike. Thanks!

There's a link to it from the F**kyeahJacobPitts Tumbler page. The original link is from this Japanese girl. After reading the Freshouutaideas stories Is got interested in Finding out what else jacob had done . Did a lot of surfing and found the link. I've also watched pretty much all of his interviews including the a Drinks and a Discourse podcasts so I'm very familiar with his voice now. It's deinately a Jacob singing. One of his friends posted a pic of him playing piano with a caption saying JP had been singing a a Radio Head track for them. I'm not the least surprised he's posted a song but not taken the credit for it. He seems a very modest and shy guy regarding his talents. I can find and post the links that led me to find it if anyone's interested. I LOVE his version.. It's so beautiful. Curiously Annie Lennox's version was on the radio today. It seems so wrong and over produced after hearing Jacobs version.
Thanks for the tip off re the other fan give author

The secret to surfing the web is to pose your question several ways and always check beyond what you believe to be the final results page. A lot of the info will be repeats and some will be wayyy more private than you'd want to or should really know but every so often you find a little gem.. Like Jacob singing

I enjoy all of the fanfic, too (well, not the slash so much), but for me to be really hooked, Raylan has to be center-stage. I enjoy the stories featuring Tim, but nowhere near as much as those that feature Raylan.

I actually wouldn't mind downloading this version to my iTunes playlist. I'm with you there, I've been playing it virtually non-stop since I found it. Curiously the original version came on the radio yesterday and my first thought was that Annie Lennox had been playing it wrong for the last 23 years. Jacob's voice and singing Are so raw and full of emotion. I totally love it!
