There seems to be a new CD...I have the first.'the one with him in the chair. It was released in 2013. They say there is a new one with items like Raylan's theme and Ava's theme with that sixth season picture as cover but can not find it on amazon or Walmart. Oh well!!!

I love the musical theme that used to be played in some of Raylan and Winona's scenes.

Welcome Coco; That theme was strangely used in Raylan and Boyd's last scene. I can't remember which one of us commented on it in The Promise thread, but I noticed it right away. It was kind of funny to hear the love theme over that scene.
The musical director was formally a founding member of the band Toto.

What was playing over the closing credits? Usually it was the old theme but nope...it was sweet and if tears weren't falling...the music did it for me.

Thanks for the welcome, Motorcitymade I think they also played R&W's theme in the little scene that Winona and Willa had in 'Fate's Right Hand'.

Help!!!!! I found it on iTunes with no problem. You have to make an account. Once you do, and purchase it (I suggest buying an iTunes gift card and putting it on your account) it will download right into your iTunes (if you have an apple) I'm not sure how it works on other devices. All we have are Apples. Can someone on another device help? How does iTunes work on non-Apple devices?

Everything I have is Apple, too. I opened an iTunes account a long time ago and loaded up on musical favorites. Recently I went in to add music and they've changed it so much that I gave up figuring out how to use it. I'll have to get someone to help me. I think what 'book and I would be looking for is a CD of the music; I haven't moved my iTunes to my phone because it is old and I really need to get a new one. It's not functioning well at all. This leaves me with only the ability to play my music on my computer, which I often do. But I would love the Justified music on CD and that doesn't seem to be available, I guess.
Where did you get the first CD, 'book?

That last few minutes of Raylan and Boyd talking to each other, brought to mind the quote from "Carol Johnson" in S2, upon hearing Raylan say that "on two occasions Boyd had my back...once was in the mine and once was not so long ago..." and she says "Sounds like a love story"... For just a moment, These two felt the kind of affection that goes with having survived a trauma together and having a long history that started in their youth...I was not surprised by the choice of music and I felt there was an awful lot of strong feelings in their words and their faces in that last minute on screen. Neither would describe it that way, but I felt the love in the moment. Think I'm wrong?

You can buy the original CD on amazon. In search just put justified in music and up it comes. The cover is Raylan in the chair...the one of him shooting the bottle of drugs. The irony on neither CD...you'll never leave Harlan alive...which to me is as much the theme as anything!

Thanks, 'book. Maybe the second CD will show up there eventually, too. I'm thinking..."You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive" appeared in a number of versions on the show. The artists involved may hold copyrights to their versions and don't share them. Just a thought.

It is shown as a CD. I tried on my tablet but they do the iTunes thing. And my tablet is a nexus...whatever that means. I spent my day with Sony to no avail. Madison Gate Records is the label but I can't get the number...Sony owns Madison...go figure!!! Sony owns Justified...again go figure!!!!!!
