I work for a convention company in the Uk and watching te show has been a case of.. Met, met , met...the list so far isMatthew John Armstrong( hit man), Fredric Lehne( swat commander), Robert Picardo ( nazi art collector), Michael Ironside( Sarno), Eric Roberts(Miller), Alan Tudk ( Elias),Sam Anderson( Lee Paxton), James Kyson(Yoon), William Mapother( Delroy), Stephen Tobolosky(Barkely), Danny Strong ( Feakus), Alan Ruck( Rolley), AJ Buckley (Danny Crowe) and MC Gainey (BO Crowder). I've also met Dean Cain (Broken Hearts) Kevin Smith and a few people from Deadwood. Most of the mentioned people are lovely but special note goes to Stephen T who tells the best stories, Alan Tudyk who showed up to a bankrupt convention in his own time and on his own dime ( a whole other story) Dean Cain who gives the best hugs and Lastly but most definitely not least MC Gainey who bought me and 7 of my colleagues dinner and then got all emotional when we presented him with a good bottle of whiskey by way of a thank you. He' s a big bear of a man, with a wicked sense of humour and a heart of gold. Next weekend I' m working at an official Sherlock convention.. Benedict Cumberbatch is one of the guests and in the summer we have the one and only Michael J Fox attending one of our shows ..I love my job

That's Awesome. Genesgal. How fun to know folks in the entertainment business are regular people. We have a buried thread in here somewhere as to how many "degrees of separation" between the forum members and one Timothy Olyphant. (chuckles). At the time, our own LoveJustified was a C.I. as it was not public ally known that she had visited the set. She was a much happier C.I. that Ava Crowder, btw.
It turns out that a few people are only one or two degrees removed, so it is indeed a small world.
Of your list, Dean Cain is the one that makes me swoon, believe it or not. Hahahahahaha. And the one I would most like to meet is Tobolowski because that is one funny guy. His blog was interesting.

He's a sweetheart. Stephen T, along with telling the funniest anecdotes, is a sweet, charming, kind man. Also generous with hugs and kind words. I' ve looked after Nathan Fillion, Ben Browder , Jamie Bamber and Matt Smith amongst others. I' ve been really lucky and can pick guests that I want to PA for but occasionally it bites you on the ass. A couple of years ago we had a guest that I'd been desperate to meet and I persuaded my boss to let me look after him. Without a doubt it was my worse day working ever. The guy was in a foul mood all weekend, was beyond difficult and demanding and made my and the two other colleagues who looked after him, weekend a misery. As T O would say.. The guy was an asshole. Meeting someone you admire and them being an asshat is very sobering. Of course it means I can't watch anything the guy' s in, without wanting to lob something at the TV now! I live near London so go to lots of premiers and the theatre where I've met many A listers like hanks, Clooney, DiCaprio, Jackman etc. .. Most actors are lovely and non divaish, very few disappoint if you approach them the right way.

I have a friend who is crazy about Nathan Fillion...she'll be glad to know he's a good guy. I also hate knowing someone is an asshole. A friend of my husband's had an experience running into a performer (musician) we both liked and he was much the same way, a real diva, very demanding...it colored our opinion and we don't enjoy his music as much. Of course, this guy is young, so maybe his attitude will change. I think I want a job like yours. LOL. Fat chance in Ohio.

Very polite, great with the fans an very appreciative of anything you do for him and really easy to manage . I also met his brother Jeff, equally as lovely and with the exact same walk as Nathan. Nathan is also very kind. He showed up at a cancelled convention in Burbank, when the organisers used advance ticket sale money to pay prior debts. The Southern California Browncoats organised a back up bash and many members of the Firfly cast showed up on their own dime and spent time with the fans. Alan Tudyk wasn't even supposed to attend the convention but flew in from NM at his own expense to spend time with the fans. I know this because I was one of the attendees. Thanks to The Firefly cast ( led by Nathan) and the generosity of Browncoats around the world and the wonderful SoCal Browncoats we had a wonderful special weekend.

Back in my forties I was a soap fan...drake hogestyn from days of our lives. He was beyond charming and fun. We partied with him and he was generous with his time. Nathan began in soaps and may have learned how to treat people. Most soap actors tend towards decent behavior! The bigger they are sometimes the more distant they could be! But the nicest...Anthony Geary...about to win his 8th Emmy and he is the nicest person. Go figure!!!!

The funniest thing happened on Sunday. this young Irish girl ( with a very strong accent)came up and was chatting away to him while he was signing her picture, she asked if he could "put a tree" on the photo. Andrew likes to do little doodles so he started drawing this tree( which he joked looked like a dinosaur he'd drawn fir someone else). Then the girl said no not a tree..three!. Much laughter ensued and he said he out of all people should of twigged that she had meant three not tree! he then decorated his "tree" with red and green apples and called it a "Moriartree"
