He's not on the cover because he's an under-the-radar guy. That's good, in my book. Over-exposure is over-rated. Oooh....I think I will get the version for the nook on my iPad. (I have the Kindle app, too, so I could get either.) Great idea. No explaining to the husband, especially since he just found my TO dvd stash. Yikes. Glad you liked the video, clover. They asked Springsteen to do that at the last minute and thought he'd turn them down...but he went for it, and even came up with dressing up like he did in the '70's. There's another Fallon video where he does Jim Morrison. Just go to YouTube and put in Jimmy Fallon/Jim Morrison.

(1) I'm glad I don't have to explain anything...I just do. Jon actually got cranky with me the other day, "You got onto me about wearing that "Musician: groupies wanted" shirt and you have a poster of another man in the Bedroom..." Continuous whining ensues.
(A) "It's my bedroom. YOU want to keep visiting it? Shut the fuck up". LOL. "Besides, what are the odds I would ever meet my pretend Hollywood boyfriend? Absolute Zero". What are the odds I'd ever find a groupie sleeping in the van? 100 percent." (Swear to God it happened, YEARS ago ( claims she belonged to bassist); I burned him good.
P.S. poster is the same as Wkw's "cowboy in the cupboard." Did you ever tell that one?
(2) I can't believe you pulled Jimmy Fallon out of a Hat. I have a secret crush on him. I was thinking about that when I saw the pictures of Jimmy and TO together. I think they also have a strange resemblance...both of them have wide set eyes, maybe?? (Mine are too, kinda..interesting.....). LOVE Jimmy Fallon. He's my CILF. Comedian...I'd...etc...any hoo.....
Editing: Just saw these. Man, Popcandy is at these things like white on rice.
and
Yeah, you heard that audio right. Poor Tim Olyphant. I' don't envy him to have to put up with that crap. The first audio with the lady yelling "Crazies" kinda cracks me up! But the second one, God Damn, leave the poor guy alone. You can almost see his shoulders fall in a "not again" kind of expression. I can't even imaging what kind of person would wait in a Que all day to yell at obscenities at someone from 10 feet away? Boggles the mind. Good to see Mrs. O was there looking like a knockout again. God bless her for walking in those heels!

How dare they yell at our man!! LOL! Assholes!
And let me say, no, there is NOTHING wrong with vanilla, if that's what you like. You'd think he'd be used to these kind of silly questions by now, but he actually looked embarassed to me. So cute.
I think at the end of that nasty video someone from the Marmont is instructing TO's driver to "go up Crescent" which is Crescent Heights Blvd., the next block, to avoid the paparazzi.

Actually, having gone through the GQ issue pretty thoroughly, I don't think TO is actually one of the "men of the year", but a model in this month's fashion issue and therefore, invited to the party. The "badasses" are the cast of Breaking Bad.
Still, we can be thankful for BIG favors!

mcm, I don't live in the San Diego area I live.. lived in Newport Beach and the distant to get there was relatively close. I now live in the L.A area because I'm living at my husbands' place and it is closer to his work. I did drive down to San Diego earlier this year and last like a speed demon to meet A.L at Comic Con which I did twice. And I can do it again to meet T.O I just would have to account for the distance time because now the drive is a little longer now. But would be so worth it.I did pick up a copy of GQ while I was out Black Friday shopping. Beautiful and so sexy pics by the way.

Looking forward to your report Giselle! I think the video might eventually be on the GQ site, I just watched a similar video of Michael Shannon that's already there. They are putting all the articles on the site one by one, you can see the dates on the wheel. www.gq.com/moty/2011/

He is just SO bad! He looks absolutely STUNNING though, although just one of those pictures could have had him SMILING. Other than that....PERFECTION.
OK, just played it again and I have to say...the black and white shot at 38 seconds makes me literally SCREAM! LOL! JESUS that is HOT!

The role he plays in Shame is a sex addict so I'm guessing the training our sarcastic friend was referring to was of a sexual nature.

Because they show off the swimmer's shoulders. I don't care which he wears. heck I don't care if he wears a shirt at all. And can I just say that, unless those pants were extremely stretchy, they had to be terribly uncomfortable.

HATE those jeans........WANNA BE those jeans....Hate'em...Be'em...Hate'em Be'em.
AAAAH!
Seriously though, if he hadn't been an actor, he could've easily been a model. I know he's done it a little and he can really wear clothes. OR NOT. I know, sorry. I think it's a tie for sexiest between jeans and white wifebeater and jeans and black tee. But what about that suit? Gorgeous.

I'm so proud of you bawdy lusty women. Obi-wan has taught you well. LOL We were separated at birth clover b/c I ran that b&w clip over a few times just to watch what he was doing with his mouth! LOL Very Perceptive of the sarcasm Re: Micheal Fassenbender , LJ. The truth is Fassbender did get into shape for Shame b/c he recently starred as IRA hunger striker Bobby Sands where he has lost a ton of weight and was basically a human skeleton. He didn't really bounce back from that easily. If you kids aren't familiar with Micheal Fassenbender, read this review on Shame. news.yahoo.com/review-fassbender-lays-himself-bare-shame-214346536.htmlHe's also starring as Carl Jung opposite Viggo as Freud and Keira Knightly in A dangerous method right now. See his work! Highly recommend! You will soon Fancy the Fassy.
