Just watched Chinatown, the Jack Nicholson classic and could not help thinking that TO would be perfect as JJ Gittes. He has always reminded me of a young Jack Nicholson. He has the intensity, the humor...just a thought.
What kind of classic role do you think would be a perfect TO vehicle? Also thought about the attorney role that William Hurt played in Body Heat...oh my! Can you picture it?

I would love to see him do something with a nice mix of comedy, hopefully on a cable network. I was watching House of Lies on Showtime, and was thinking how good Tim would be in a leading role like that.

mare, a long time ago we were discussing other roles that Tim could play and the role of Ned Racine in Body Heat immediately came to my mind. I think a few other of our members agreed. Maybe it's time for a remake, although I hate remakes.

Maybe it's time for a remake, although I hate remakes. Ned Racine...I had forgotten the characters name...I used to think that there should be a follow up to that story, where somehow Ned gets out of jail and pursues the woman who did him wrong...do you remember that Mickey Rouke has a small but very impressive appearance in that film, assisting Ned with the bomb and telling him there are a thousand ways to F*** it up...? That was a cleverly done story, I thought, I could see TO there!
