Hopefully this means he'll be very busy that week with interviews, promoting the show. They might have to work around his shooting schedule.

I think Last season he was on "Ellen" AFTER the premiere too. Just glad he'll be there. Love how easy going and charming he is when visiting Ellen.
I hope we'll also see him on Conan and on Seth, but have not seen any announcements.
...another favorite from a few years ago.

FYI... The fmx special look at season six is now on the fx networks.com site...so very worth watching. As to Conan he has not booked TO as of this week...but the press is on fire...all glowing reviews...we'll talk after...to all...enjoy.

Omg he was funny. But drama is his best. Loved the green hat as well as the cap. He is so relaxed with her....we just need to hope for work...lots of work.

He was hilarious. I'd really rather see him do a comedy next. Something different. Maybe Ellen's idea will get him a new gig.

The first one of you to find a pic of Tim wearing that hat in real life gets a prize. IDK what but I'll think of something.
P.S. I was surprised Tim couldn't pull out an Irish accent. Finally! Something I can do better than TO - fake accents.. LOL. I also have "talk like a pirate day" marked on my office calendar and send a meeting notice to my whole group. We once had a team meeting that included "shiver me timbers"

"What's the matter with Ringo?"

Am I the only one that thought the Ellen interview this time around was a bit light on content? The "I need a job thing" is funny for a couple of go-rounds, but I wanted more stories and less silliness. Still, it's always good to see The Man and Ellen does seem to enjoy having him on the show.

The interview was definitely light on content, but I liked it. Tim seems to do better with interviews when he does not have to answer a bunch of serious questions. That's why I like to see him on Ellen because he always seems to be in a nice comfort zone. Ellen does not pry too much. She keeps it fun.
I do wonder if scripts are coming Tim's way but he's turning them down. I really can't believe he has nothing lined up yet. Seems strange for an actor who has been the leading man and executive producer of a successful show for the last few years.

We once had a team meeting that included "shiver me timbers" I think we should watch for him at a Clippers game, in the stands, with that hat on, no one would notice him, right?
Also, I was disappointed by the Ellen appearance...I wanted something about the show ending...and his kids' stories were sort of familiar... but he was funny and charming and I guess that is what Ellen wants on her show...and he looked great...as always. I think he could be given a longer segment and no one would complain...the audience obviously likes him. I wish Ellen has asked him the significance of his various wristbands/bracelets...inquiring minds...
Still watching for appearances on Conan or Seth...

It wasn't my favorite TO appearance. As you said, always good to see him . . . but the looking for a job schtick isn't playing well for me, either. Then, again, I've seen him (half) joke about needing a job before. Maybe it played better to someone who hasn't been following every TO appearance, article, press. I suppose they did it as he had nothing new to talk about. Plug his show's last season. His kids are great. He was a good sport. Maybe he was trying to show a light side of himself. I know he likes to do comedy. Lighter fare. I get it. But I think he's far better playing drama than comedy. Or a subtle mixture of the two. My opinion. I've seen actors in a dramatic hit do the same, only to end up returning to drama.

My hope is for a meaty drama,..bet as a lawyer he would be great. Anyone see the Lincoln lawyer...movie...make a great series...and the lead is complicated and right up his alley...defense attorney with his way...if you get what mean.

I would guess that he's got a lot of offers but maybe none that appeal...or maybe he wants to have time off with the wife and kids for awhile and there are always those celebrity tennis tournaments...and Clippers games.
He's smart, funny, talented, charming, good looking, appealing to both men (who wish they were like him) and women (who want to be around him)... I'll bet he's just taking his sweet time.

I gather from several interviews I've read that he'd be open to another television show. "Television has been good to me." I think he said. I'd imagine his preference is due to being able to go home at night vs. being on location for months at a time. His dislike of the filming of Hitman is notorious. Maybe he's turned down movies that would be filming far away from CA? Maybe he's being picky? Who knows.
I'd prefer television, actually. Something to look forward to every week, rather than a one-shot deal in a movie.

I do hope he does television again. I agree, I'd rather seen him on a weekly basis than once or twice a year in a movie role.

The best concepts seem to be on cable tv these days. Plus he could be home with the family and we could see him way more times than one or two movies each year. Also, I'll bet he is plenty picky...after having so much input on Justified, he probably wants to have an element of control.
