wkw, thanks for the interviews. I think, at this point with two days to go, we all know what we want, and it's probably what the writers want, too. It has to Elmore-centric. It has to be true to the characters. (Although anyone can change, they are pretty much who they are in the long run.) I'd like to see some "clean-up." (Characters getting real with themselves and trying to do something about it, but this may not be "Elmore," and it may be too much to ask. I mean, how much brighter can we expect Dewey to get?) I just don't want Raylan dead. I want him in Florida when this is all over. How do the rest of you feel? Is this realistic?

Yeah, I figured no matter what happened, the finale would be sad.

Yeah, I figured no matter what happened, the finale would be sad. Elmore's books don't end sad. I don't think TO was being serious. If they are truly following in Elmore's footsteps, it won't be any kind of traditional 'happily ever after' but it won't be devastating, either.

I think they need to have Boyd do something so unforgivable...like kill Ava...so the fans can accept what raylan might have to do...and if that is kill Boyd...that would be sad. Crime never pays....

There are a whole lot of photos from this event on the Getty site, mostly Tim and Ava... I was watching the Packer game too, funny to think TO and I were both rooting for them...I am not from Wisc. LOL! Probably the last thing he wanted to do on a Sunday during playoffs is appear on a panel in front of the press...what a tough life, right!LOL!

Not the same genre, but I think of how brilliantly the writers on FRI Night Lights ended, so satisfying... Can't wait for Tuesday!

TO thinks Raylan is an asshole. LOL. www.rollingstone.com/tv/features/timothy-olyphant-end-of-justified-20150119He also says "I don't know whose dumb idea it was to end this show. He should be fucking fired." I agree. Oh. Wait. And there's this: RS: So you're telling us you've just been skating by and your good looks and charm for the past five years?TO: Well, that's what the role seemed to call for, so.... [Laughs]

I am so excited for the premiere! Thank you all for the links to articles and interviews. I've been reading some of them today and hopefully can read more tomorrow. I kind of got behind on the Justified news.

He was writing a new book about him! Here's hoping the writers will continue to do what Elmore did. (I'd send Dewey back to jail with his pal, Dickie.) So excited for the premiere!!

But I think he will push Ava too hard to get Boyd and something very bad is going to happen. i think that it would affect Raylan more than he realizes if Boyd dies at his hand, and especially if Ava dies. And WOW I'm so ready- bring it on!

I kind of got behind on the Justified news. OMG! just watched S6Ep1....off to a great start I would say... I remember the start of S5 was so dark and violent and creepy, I was a little worried... I loved that Winona and child were there...that TO looked great and had some great lines...that Ava seemed genuinely scared of her situation...that we heard a bit from Art...that Tim and Rachel were there...and I have to admit, I did not see the Dewey angle coming... I can't wait to watch it again and for the next episode. What did you all think?

Just watched on Amazon. Wow.
I busted up laughing when Raylan took the Mexican Chief over the border. Awesome! Yeah, Raylan was an asshole, but the Chief did disrespect him and his badge and was a dirty Chief. LOL It was justified. And so Raylan.
RIP Dewey Crowe. Love Dewey Crowe's comic relief, but I guess there's not time for that. (Luckily, we still have the comic relief of Constable Bob to look forward to.) I'm glad Dewey had his day in the final season, even though it was his last. And there goes Raylan's plan for easily putting Boyd behind bars. It won't be easy.
I haven't seen this Boyd before. Not like this. I don't like him. Don't think I'm supposed to.
Ava is between a rock and a hard place. I don't think she still loves Boyd. I think she's afraid of him. And she's pissed at Raylan. Is this the first time we've actually seen her working at a beauty shop? It's been inferred in the past.
So good to see Winona and Willa, Rachel, Tim, and Art. It was a good grounding with the core group of characters before all hell breaks loose, as we know it surely will.
And a new mystery that was set into play: The Maryland man who came to buy up Arlo's property . . . with dirty cash.
Loved every single second of it. <3

Does anyone know if there was a Justified Season 6 premiere, with cast and press? Checked Getty images but there is nothing there as on yet. Will be watching Ellen on Friday and hopefully Conan or Seth soon to see TO promote the last season...
I have very high hopes based on episode 1.

I was wondering the same thing, Mare. Was there a premiere party? I'm thinking of all those gorgeous, wonderful pics we've gotten over the years from the season premieres.

A couple of thoughts...could Arlo have buried something, money or other, over the years that now is being sought by the guy who wants to buy the property?
Are the ledgers that Boyd found, what he was actually after? some tie to Kathryn Hale/Wynn Duffy's business?
Is there some significance to the mention that Willa was baptized...or just a reference to keep us thinking about what Raylan is missing by staying in Harlan...?
Boyd feels real scary right now, a threat to Ava perhaps, and of course to Raylan.
Dewey mentioned wanting to talk to Boyd about Mexico...will Boyd figure out that Raylan knows about Johnny's death in Mexico and that Dewey was a witness, so was Carl...all others dead, I think? Anyone?
This is going to be good...

Hopefully someone with more computer savvy than I, will find and post!
