Apparently Tim will be appearing on the Seth Meyers show next Wednesday... Never watched this show so don't know what to expect but obviously anything with Tim is always worthwhile....

Seth was good on Saturday Night Live. I have not watched his late night show yet. I'll watch it now.

Seth is a really big fan of the show and did a great interview. He didn't let Timothy go completely off the rails like some late night host do.

Yes, Seth really kept the conversation on point, and Tim is good when you ask specific questions and keep him focused. And of course he is always funny. He seemed very comfortable with Seth, telling him stories about Deadwood and his mother's view about the show, and his sports radio stint. I enjoyed this interview.

Thanks for this, don't know how I forgot about it... Also saw the intro on the website, with TO telling Seth how to introduce him, from behind the entry door...that was good too. This was great...If he did a lot of appearances prior to the season starting, I think it would have increased the audience a lot. seems weird to be promoting show with only 2 episodes and final season left. but glad to see him out there, looking very fine!

Thanks, Dolphin...cute interview. He needs some new stories though,. LOL. While I hate that we are heading into the last season, I'm happy thinking about the press that the final season will undoubtably get.

Thanks for telling me about the intro. I couldn't get it to load on the NBC site, but found it here: www.hulu.com/watch/614251#i1,p0,d1

Oddly I could get the interview to load (thank you Dolphin!) but not the intro, and hulu is one of the websites that doesn't play over here. I'll look out for it on YouTube. He is soooo charismatic is he not?

I enjoyed this one too, kmmo. I'm not always up late so I've seen only a smattering of the new late night hosts in action. I remember Jimmy Fallon and Seth Myers from SNL, but even then I didn't watch often. Now that I've seen them a few times, I've come to enjoy them. Seth is pretty laid back and I think he makes people comfortable. Tim seemed very at ease with him and that's when we get the best interview, I think. Jimmy is a bit sillier at times and it works for him. Last Friday night he had me laughing out loud with his Ford 150 picture. Neither of these guys try to "out funny" their guests. They ask questions and let the guests take over and talk. They let the guest shine. (A good example of this was last week when Jimmy had Bill Cosby on. Bill ran the whole thing and was great. Jimmy was the straight man.) Ellen is the same way and she gets great stuff from Tim. They've all seemed to take a cue from the master--Johnny Carson.
