OMG. THIS is THE GREATEST THING EVER!
This is, IMHO, one of the greatest songs ever written; right up there with Hey Jude on my list.
I recently went to a Halloween Wedding, ( as Fionna Shrek), and they played this song. The bridal couple are a 30-ish set of hippie brainiacs, my very favourite Engineer at work.
I belted out this song, all greened up, doing my best Robert Zimmerman impression. LOL My colleagues at the table and Jon couldn't believe I got every word right.
This song reminds me very much of a former friend who married a control freak, found Jesus and lost her mind.
Singing this song is a great catharsis, isn't it? Especially after releasing the Kraken (Brand of Rum).
In the video, I just about died laughing at Rich Harrison of Pawn Stars trying to "hold" a note. Did any of you see his rock and roil dream episode trying to sing with Roger Daltry?
How about Toronto's own Property Brother twins? I love those guys. Why or Why didn't their parents fix their teeth on such lovely faces.
Thanks, dolphin!
