I can't quite see this guy as " the sexy and charismatic patriarch of a white-trash Florida crime family."
Maybe it's me...I think he's a good actor, so maybe he's got it in him... What do you think?

I agree, in the roles I have seen him, his natural New York accent is always there. Not to say he can't do a southern accent, I just never have heard him in anything but a New York accent so I wonder how he will do the Florida style.

The comments under this article were mostly negative on the "sexy" part, but I believe Michael has the potential. Anybody remember a show called "Boston Public"? I thought he was appealing on that. Hope he does well for us! LOL

Hope he does well for us! LOL I remember him on Boston Public. Appearance or type aside, he's a very fine actor. I have never even had the inkling that Michael is 'sexy.' Maybe his character is magnetic or like that of a good politician .... that form of 'attractive,' rather than 'sexy.' They really should be more careful with their press releases. Related, I'll be honest and share my own view. I don't think Walton is attractive or sexy on face value. It's what comes through in watching him act with humor and intensity and thoughtfulness on screen that makes him attractive. It can come from within.

I don't find Walton attractive. But he draws you in and you find yourself hanging on his every word (at least it's that way for me). That can be attractive, and a little sexy. I can see Michael Rapaport being like that.

Sexy is definitely about attitude, not about looks. So Michael might be able to pull it off. I've followed his career over the years, and he has the acting chops to do the job.
I'm probably one of the few that think Walton is really attractive, in an odd sort of way.

You guys, watch the episode of A party of five With TO and Micheal Rapaport in it. You can get it on Amazon for a couple of bucks. It's sooo worth it; just to see Tim swirling that ice in the water glass and drinking with the Seth Bullock mustache.
Anyway, Micheal Rapaport is really loud and obnoxious in it. It's all good fun, but he interrupts Tim in the middle of something, and Timothy gives him the biggest dirty look. He flashes those eyes . The look like they get darker when he's mad. It's a kind of look I've never seen in a role. A real stink eye where he's clearly biting his tongue.
Download it, Watch it and post what you think. I'll bet he's a pistol when he's angry.
P.S. Siss, You're not the only one re: Walton

" ____________________________________________________________________________ I watched this episode of party of 5 on YouTube awhile back, although it is a little chopped up in places- I think I got the gist of it. (MCM, did you see it on YouTube also? Wonder how it compares to the downloaded version, maybe I missed a Lot!) I remember that TO was interrupted in telling a story and he got very quiet, but those eyes...Probably too well mannered to make a fuss on camera, but you could see the agitation. That whole thing is pretty fun to watch, but I thought jay mohr was a pain in the ass, most of the time. And I was no fan of Michael Rapaport afterwards, pushy and kind of dumb, I thought. Loved listening to TO and also to David Milch. Thanks for the reminder. Anyone on this forum, who hasn't seen it, will enjoy!

It's very good. I wish that show was still on.

I bought it on Amazon. It's in my TO Libray there as well. Just open an account and keep the videos you buy there. You can stream it any any time.
