I know - lovely and Hitman are hardly words that go together. Not one of my favorite TO movies, but I stumbled onto this fic a while ago and I just stumbled upon it again and I remembered just how much I actually enjoyed it. In my opinion, this girl should have written the movie. Anyway, I leave it here for you (it's two fics, but they really read like one): Ten Steps For Capturing a Hitmanand The Courtship of Nika BoroninaIn that order. The second one has yet to be finished. The third and final chapter is pending and there will be a sequel after that. They're mostly fluffy (romantic) and there's a bit of action and a lot of humor and angst and are quite enjoyable overall.

Thank you for the fan fic links, Jess1z1. I hope the author continues with The Courtship of Nika Boronina. That's quite a cliff hanger.

Hitman Blooper Reel. Stay with it. TO is in there: Nice find! Fun to see TO here! I have never watched Hitman, does anyone recommend it? Oddly, I just watched "Scream 2" on Halloween night...never saw that before either...funny to watch a baby-faced TO play the crazy killer...

I have the DVD Mare I enjoyed it, I thought did a good job with what he had. The DVD had a longer blooper reel on it but it's so long since I watched it I had forgotten the content, thanks Dolphin.

Mare, it's my least favorite of TO's body of work. (Not my genre, at all.) But the film does have its moments. I'm not sorry I saw it. LOL Keep your expectations low and be surprised. That's what I wish I had done.

I actually liked Hitman, but I do enjoy action movies. I remember watching it the weekend it was released, and I had no idea who TO was at the time. But I enjoyed the movie. Now that I follow Tim's work, I don't think that genre is a good fit for him, only because one does not really have to display a broad acting range to play a role in an action flick, at least in my opinion. Tim is far too talented for that kind of role. I have to admit, I'd watch Tim in just about anything, good or bad.

Wow, this thread is a golden oldie from our from our founder. Great find.
Probably my least favourite Timothy Olyphant work as Dolphins says, but he rocks the black suit. I think it is mostly my hair fetish that makes me not prefer it.
If I catch it on basic cable I usually think about Tim the family man with that new mortgage after his delightful newly negotiate Deadwood contract was summarily canceled. Tim summed it up in an interview curtly, "I shaved my head and went to Bulgaria."

That's what I'll do...It's not my genre either, but I'm curious. Thanks! That's the spirit! He has face time. After all, his is the star of the film. Well -I watched it tonight, and it held my attention more than I thought it would. Not my kind of film, but there was a lot of TO! I remembered that TO comment too, following Deadwood's abrupt cancellation...he had to pay for the new house! What I did like were a few snippets of personality coming thru...like he was trying to not be a total robotic killing machine. Now that I'm familiar with TO's work, I noticed these things. If I had seen this movie, pre-Justified, I may not have noticed. Have to admit, I was hoping for a couple of shirtless scenes...You know he was buff under that black suit! So I'm glad I saw it... Here's another question, has anyone watched I AM Number Four? I see it is available on Amazon Prime...for a small cost. Don't think I've seen it discussed here. Boy, I hope he gets some good film roles following Justified! We need to know there will be more TO to see.

glad to hear it...I'm going to order it! It's not a bad addition to have in your TO Collection. I ended up ordering 48 hour access to it thru Amazon Prime, for $2.99. I was enjoying the TO parts, interesting character and great looking, but the main guy, John Smith, no charisma and no appeal, especially standing next to TO. The story was holding my interest up until "Henrie" bit the dust. Then I was no longer interested. Re the outakes, I saw on Youtube, too bad they didn't leave the scenes with Karen Allen. But have to agree, TO looked amazing. I don't remember this movie ever coming to theatres where I live in 2011-12. Now I see why... But I'm glad I saw it. may even watch the first 45 minutes again...

Oh, yeah. The movie is over after Henrie bites the dust. But the screen time he has is worth the watch.
