In checking On Demand, they are running a "watchable week" and many FX series are included. Archer all 4 seasons, Americans, Legit. But NO JUSTIFIED. What is their problem? It ends 3/31 and we are not included. We made the cover of TV Guide as the #1 drama, CBS has listed Raylan Givens as the coolest character on TV...so why are we not getting our due? And once again I ask where is season 5? Time to start writing emails to user@fxnetworks.com. Ask that question or any other...we need to be heard.

'book, it's a wonder I haven't snatched myself bald over this whole situation. They have gold mine here and they don't do one damned thing to promote it. I am really getting antsy over the question of a season 5. This season has been absolute dynamite. If they leave us hanging, I for one will never watch FX again, and don't say that lightly because I have enjoyed some of their other shows very much.

I am in total agreement. FX won me when Timothy sauntered up to "talk" to Tommy Bucks and the day he stops that walk, I stop watching FX.

I thought it was only in the UK that they didn't actively promote the show....hardly anybody over here knows about it and unless you were looking for it you could quite easily miss it altogether.

Just saw on Hollywood Deadline...we are the most popular Amazon streaming video...and oh yeah...Archer was renewed back at the end of February....there is no mention that Justified is being renewed. Says our ratings continue to climb along with The Americans....everyone is getting renewed but us. I am seriously doubting Landgraf and Yost at this point...where oh where is our renewal?

According to a random poster on IMDB today...not always the most reliable, but fingers crossed:
Yes, there will be another season. They're negotiating a multi year renewal, so it's taking longer, but be assured, the show WILL be back.
I'm sure that would be complicated with Walton's blossoming movie career, TO's desire for family time, trying to work it into Natalie's time frame (if they use her) etc. So, fear not...I'm sure we'll hear something soon.

Tim O's is the only contract that matters. Everybody else is expendable. I watch the show to watch Raylan. Yes the other characters make for a rounded show but any set of characters will do that. I've never been a fan of Boyd - don't really see as how his presence adds much to the show or plotting so if he goes I won't be sad.

I think Yost and the writers value every character...and they know that Boyd/Walton has a following. There are plenty of people out there who watch the show for him, I'd say as many who watch for Raylan alone, or for the way the two of them play off of each other.
Besides...TO wants them all there because he doesn't want to have to carry the whole thing himself. He's too lazy. (His words)
Personally, for me, as much as I love TO/Raylan; it's an ensemble show. I would miss anyone who left for any reason. Heck, I'm going to miss Colt, and, most likely Johnny, next year.

I am not sure where I heard it (not IMDB) but I, too, got the impression that they were trying to do one deal for 5 and 6.
They already have the actors locked in regardless of their movie careers. I would imagine the show's budget is a negotiation point. They had 2 sound stages for S1 and s2, they added a third for S3 and a fourth for S4. Side note - when they are in court they go next door and borrow the Franklin & Bash set.
No worries, more Justified is coming.
