Loved it. Thanks Weegie. The interview is about an hour and twenty minutes and he really gets comfortable with the interview later on. I did notice what he said about having a child on set and having to deal with the stage-parents. I don't think he wants that problem at all - interesting for the future of Jiffy Pop.

I was interested in the reason (supposedly) they killed off the child in Deadwood. I thought it was a really good interview, learned a lot about his attitude to work and show business. He seemed less guarded and more relaxed and truthful than he usually does maybe because the interviewer did not touch on his home life.

Very cool podcast. Personally, I think Tim's always personable and conversational even when the interviewer is just talking about roles and jobs, but I love these ones where it feels like they're sitting over dinner chatting about life. I like it when interviews go off the rails and they talk about things that matter and not just his roles/characters/ movies/ shows. I was fascinated by his thoughts on fame and success and his gushing about Steve Martin. I love getting to know what makes Tim the man he is, and these kinds of semi-unstructured, free form interviews really allow him some room to air it out.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this weegieburd!! Such a rollickingly funny, unfettered and yet still insightful interview. What everyone above said... and then some. (This is what the Dinner for Five interview could have been if it was just Dinner for Two.

Weegieburd! Best interview EVER!!! I loved what he said about watching himself. I HATE to watch myself. The only time I ever did was when a friend got me half smashed and made me watch myself as Miss Hannigan in Annie. Never did it again. It was hysterical about how Tim said he had no trouble with that and how he annoyed his wife by pointing out how good he was in various scenes. Priceless. What do we have to do to get these guys to interview him again soon? ?? LOL It takes a long time ladies, but it's worth every minute.
