I thought all of the ladies looked stunning. In my vid, Erica's dress seems to be pink but in the photos it looks white. I like it better when it's pink!
Raymond had a hot babe on his arm. Anyone know who she was?
Tim looks great in everything he puts on. Still perplexed by my pitter-pattering pumper despite the predicament presented by his pomade predilection. I win at alliteration with this sentence.

Nice continuity measure by the interviewer to bring that up. Kudos to him. Why is it that Natalie has not aged 2 years since the original dick comment but the rest of us have? 3 years. (In case anyone was feeling too good about themselves.)

PS, Awesome alliteration, alpha! I mentioned your FF on the previous page, btw; I called it terrific triangular tryst.

MCM: I completely missed your comment. I would lose my cool if they ever wrote a threesome into an episode. Not sure it would play, but, man would it be AWESOME. Maybe Lyndsey's down for spicing it up a little??? One can only hope (and dream and write and put that idea into the ether...plant the seed).

I agree that the ladies have not aged in three years, but, hey, they are still young. The shit doesn't hit the fan until about fifty or so. I've really gone downhill in the last three years, but I'm twice their age.I don't like it, but it's a fact of life. Some of us have problems that add to it. Arthritis throughout my body has made it impossible for me to get enough exercise, so I am heavier than I want to be.
Plus, they have professional hair and make-up people and athletic trainers. I saw a mag on the stand in the check-out counter at my grocery store today. The cover showed actresses without make-up. The only two who looked even human were Jennifer Garner and Reese Witherspoon. The rest were really scary.
I know women my age who look amazing and others who look awful..far worse than me. It's genetics, lifestyle, etc. The arthritis thing was unavoidable for me. It's on both sides of my family. I had to have hip replacements in my fifties. Now it's in my neck, lower back, hands and feet. To look at me, you wouldn't know it, but it is painful and keeps me from doing things that I would love to do. I just keep on keeping on. It's all I can do, but it does limit me. I would love to just get on my treadmill and tear out several miles a day like I used to, but I can't. It is what it is.
Let's check in with these women on twenty years. Botox and plastic surgery can only do so much, and in some cases it looks downright freaky. I hope that they age well and are still beautiful, but there is no substitute for youth.

monday, I am so sorry you suffer with arthritis. It's a terrible affliction. I remember my aunt, who was a wonderful seamstress (one year for Christmas she made my Barbie a complete wardrobe!) by the time she died in her nineties, her hands were so crippled up she hadn't sewn for years. I hope they continue to develop new treatments that give you some relief.
I find that the women who remain beautiful and vibrant as they age are the ones who accept the aging process and work with it rather than fight it with surgery and injections. Those things help, in moderation, but so many get carried away! I saw a picture of Meg Ryan the other day and it was appalling. On the other hand, look at Helen Mirren. She may have had 'work done' but it was minimal and looks natural. Let's hope the Justified ladies follow her lead.

As someone who also had both hips replaced in her 50s and arthritis everywhere, I feel you Monday. It's no fun and can be very discouraging and depressing not to be able to do the things you have always done in the past. Thankfully, mine's osteo and not rheumatoid like my Dad's but I hate it. As my old Auntie used to say, "Artie is visiting me today." Take care of yourself and, even though it's tough, we'll just keep on keeping on as the saying goes.

Thanks to all for your kind words. Mine is osteo, but a close friend has rheumatoid. The doctors are having a hard time finding a treatment that will control it. For the time being, I have decided not to have cortisone shots in my feet. Kind of scary.
wkw, your aunt sounds like my grandmother. When I was little, she taught me to embroider. She made clothes for my Barbies, too. And bedding for their beds--- lace trimmed pillow cases, comforters, etc. When she was young, she sewed by hand. I have my father's christening gown which is hand-smocked. She spent about the last 15 years of her life with crippled hands and feet and couldn't to a thing. I was so sad.

I was getting caught up with some Justified publicity this weekend and came across this premier TO video interview. I immediately thought of WKW with the last sentence. Apologies if its already posted elsewhere, there were (happily) quite a few that look alike.

Awww. Squeee. I did see that one, LJ, but I think you were the first to post it. There's nothing more angst-y than pining unrequited love, is there? Is was looking as Lindsey in the season opener pretty sweetly, though. Remember when we had that fun thread quoting "she's gone" by Hall and Oats over at FX? That was great. speaking about Winona, I said "she's gone, he better learn how to face it." and then everybody chimed in with a line.
"pretty bodies help dissolve the memories"
"but she can never be..." "What she was..was... to me..."
We never go there in the sing along thread, but this line reminds me of Raylan this year:
Up in the morning look in the mirror I'm worn as her tooth brush hanging in the stand my face ain't looking any younger now I can see love's taken her toll on me.
IDK why Tim asked to grow his hair but it seem to fit this season. I like to think it was some master plan withing the theme of the season; but maybe he just wants it longer? Anyway, the worn out old toothbrush, with it's bristles all different lengths and frayed stands out as a metaphor for me.

mcm, I must have missed that thread completely, but the Hall and Oates song fits. (Love them, btw.) Not crazy at all about his hair, but it does seem to fit his sense of ennui since Winona left him. Things are just flat for him and he doesn't seem to really care as much. He's just going through the motions.
Speaking of FX, have you noticed that hardly anyone is posting over there about season 4? I think everyone is sick and tired of trying to deal with all of the problems. Such a shame. There was good discussion over there before.

Anyone notice there was an arrival by a YOUNG actress named Daniela Bobadilla? I wonder is she might be Jackie Nevada? Anyone have any idea who she is??

Wow. If that's her, they weren't kidding about it being an inappropriate relationship. The actress is 19!! She's evidently been in Anger Management on FX, too.

Jackie Nevada is played by Shelley Hennig. She is beautiful. Tall, thin, long wavy brunette hair. She is a former miss teen usa but she is 26 now, which imho is borderline for Raylan. But at least she is not a kid.

The Daniela girl may not have anything to do with the show. If she's on Anger Management then she could have just gotten an invite to the premiere. I've seen pics of Joelle at other FX show premieres. Even Nick was at the one for SOA.
As for the girl cast as Jackie Nevada. She is cute for sure, but looking at her photos, I don't see "sexy" if that makes any sense. IDK, maybe it will be different once she's on screen. Or maybe that's what they wanted to up the inappropriate factor.

Thanks Okey and LJ. Well, at least "Raylan" goes against type and hunkers down with a brunette for a change. I wonder how much time will pass between Lindsey (presumably) betraying him and and him jumping at Jackie Nevada. I think "Raylan" has a tendency to jump fast when he is on the re-bound. I think there are two types on men in that regard. The ones who rebound with their pointy little heads quickly and the ones who sit and mope alone in misery. "Raylan" might always pine for Winona but he certainly doesn't spend a lot of time solo. Plays well to the 18-54 demographic.
I think it might have been thematicly interesting IF he really went off the rails and got with someone that young ( 20-ish). I know you girls go Ewww, but come on, he is from a part of the country where people "start young", and it would indicate he's completely lost his ability to.....make rational life decisions shall we say. Raylan needs to have a "My God, what have I done" moment to straighten himself out.
