I watched the episode last night and I have to tell ya, I'm almost glad, Tim did not stay on this show because it was so unfunny, it made me cringe. There are so many genuinely hilarious moments on Justified and it's a drama show! This comedy show just stinks. I am surprised they did a second season. Christina Applegate's performance is constantly over the top and Jennifer Esposito acts like she is on crack. Not funny.
Tim seemed oddly out of place with his more subtle approach and since Samantha is just out of whack there is no chemistry between them.
The only moment I liked is when Samantha and Funk are outside of her parents' house and it starts to snow and they almost kiss because there was a hint of genuine emotion and romance in that which could have engaged the viewer for like 3 seconds but they go and ruin it with that lame joke of her mother taking a picture of them.
What did you think of it?

I have only seen the "cupcakes" scene on "you tube" I never watched the series when it showed here. Tim looks good enough to eat in it though.

I caught the episode again. The premise of the show was weird, but it had a good supporting cast in Jean Smart, Melissa McCarthy, and Kevin Dunn. I do see what you mean about Christina Applegate, Jennifer Esposito, and Barry Watson. He was on his way until this series, and his career has since kind of stalled out. Always good to see TO, any way we can.

Always good to see TO, any way we can. That's why I said almost glad he didn't stay on... Yep, Barry Watson didn't get on my nerves, he was sweet and believable, plus he is really cute. Some are saying he even looks a bit like TO. Well, faintly and when Barry was younger and thinner. Generally, I don't like comparing TO to other actors or peeps. I like to think of him as unique. ;D

I finally watched this episode from 2008, having never seen this show. The premise seems like a ripoff of My Name Is Earl. Tim was fantastic in it, post- Hitman shaved head and all, but I wanted to smack Samantha the whole time. However, it's worth watching since it's the only time we'll ever hear TO propose! And there are a few funny moments, especially with Jean Smart. I uploaded the ep to rutube for anyone who wants to watch it. It's already on YouTube but not good quality. rutube.ru/video/94474a985c3a5a6e353a081faffd83b0/

Thanks for posting the clip SG...never seen it before. Not the funniest comedy ever but loved Tim in it, nice hearing him say "soccer" even if his character said it was dull (and really should be called 'football' 😉). I'm sad like that, i like hearing him say things related to me (even if I know it's his character speaking!) - says "Lucy" a lot in Auggie, "Randall" loads in Justified and even "South London" in 60 seconds 😂

OMG, Auggie Rose!!! I don't remember this movie at all so I don't think I even clicked on it on his IMDB page. The trailer looks really good! I love love love Jeff Goldblum too. It's not online anywhere so I just bought a DVD on eBay for like $1 (sorry guys, no residuals!! LOL).

Wow, Richard T. Jones is in it too! I didn't know he and Tim had been in anything together before SCD. Looking forward to watching this.

Maybe he didn't want to shave his head again (although it didn't seem particularly relevant to the script). I guess when actors have to have radical hair, on head or face, they must have factor in hair growing out/ moustache growing in time in their schedule.

I guess when actors have to have radical hair, on head or face, they must have factor in hair growing out/ moustache growing in time in their schedule. I don't think he would have had to shave his head again... he made a comment about the hair in the script ("You don't like my haircut? I thought you would like it!") so it would seem like the character didn't always wear his hair like that, and would make sense that he was back with "normal" hair like he had in Damages.

Hey guys; Haven't commented lately but wanted to offer; Congrats on the 'Timiversary'!
By the Spring of 2009 the Justified wheels were already turning (pilot filmed in Pittsburg) Knowing what we know now; that decision (Raylan Givens vs. Winston Funk) should have been a 'no brainer' for our boy.

Yes, I really think he turned it down for reasons other than just working on Damages. I think that was the excuse they gave because he COULD have found time. I think he realized this was a role he didn't need to revisit. Apparently the second season was horribly written and that's why the show tanked. I'm going to start another thread with my review of Auggie Rose!

Looks like the 'Finale' of (arguably) the greatest show in TV 📺 history will happen: *David Milch has finally submitted the Deadwood script to HBO.
Knowing what that show has meant (historically) to this board, we 'newbies' might want to think about a 'viewing'/reviewing
*Ian McShane/ April 19, 2017: 'a 2 hour movie script has been delivered to HBO. If they don't deliver a finished product; blame them'
