Anyone notice he's wearing a new piece of jewellery around his wrist. I first noticed in some of the photos that appeared last week. Wonder if it's a xmas present.

It looks like the magnetic bracelet the DH wears. It's supposed to help with aches and pains and stuff. Highly marketed to golfers (and perhaps tennis players? TO plays, doesn't he?)

Desperately wanted one of those bracelets, then found out you can't wear one if you have joint replacements. I was so bummed out. They are negative ion bracelets, I believe. Thanks to everyone who provided links to and pictures of the show. I really loved it.

Interesting Mondayschild. Do you know why you can't wear them if you have a replacement, as I do?
Also, speaking of jewelry, does anyone know why Tim wears his wedding ring on his right hand? I've always wondered and have never heard him talk about it.

I thought the dorgies were Malinois as well, but they are Shiloh Shepherds. They're not yet a recognized breed but can be shown under the aegis of the Rare Breeds (Association? Society? Organization?).
Check them out on Wikipedia or just Google them.
Was any one else surprised that the family apparently has a plethora of pets? Maybe it's just me but TO and wife just never seemed like "pet people" to me. From my vast wealth of personal knowledge about them, of course....:-)

Don't know about the Olyphants, but that array of animals ran pretty par with the pets we had/have when my kid was that age. We started with fish, then a bunny, then a dog. Later a cat, then another cat ... some siberan hamsters. Later another dog, and then, another dog. No geckos.
I had to put my foot down when the dolphin in the bathtub request came in. (As if that was ever going to happen.)

Somehow, even though he jokes about his kids being three big complications, I think they have him wrapped around their fingers. If they wanted an elephant, he would probably find a way to get one for them. One of the sweetest pets we ever had was a kitten that my boys rescued. We had him for seventeen years and I miss him still. The week we took him in, my husband said only two things to me:"Do we really need another cat?" and "Is that that thing purring?"( Sandy had a purr that you could hear in the next room.) My husband came to appreciate him in the long run, and though he would never admit it, I think he really was attached to him. That cat was a total love.
SO...the Olyphant family seems chaotic and loving. A menagerie just makes it more so.

I agree totally. We ran the gamut of cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, various fish. No snakes (in spite of requests) and no geckos! No dogs because my son was pretty allergic to friend's dogs.
I think he thinks those kids are phenoms-on-wheels. Anybody that gets that much comedy material from their kids usually has a great relationship with them.
At least that's what I always told my kids.....

Katco, about the bracelets. I don't have a good answer for you, but I wondered, too. It think they are designed to adjust the levels of positive and negative ions in the body. Don't know if it really works or not, but I wanted to try. I suspect some sort of magnet might affect metal in the body. Mine are titanium. I will ask my ortho doc next time I go in.

I have two hip replacements, too, Katco. Just hoping that my knees hold out! I also have osteo in my n eck and lower spine and am getting it in my hands and feet. There is a lot of this in my family.
Due to the problems in my lower spine, I can't have a regular bone density test. I am going for one on my radius on Tuesday. (My gynecologist told me that if you have osteo in your spine, you can get a false negative on the test.) I hope everything is okay because I don't want to go back of Fosamax. I was on that for four years and hated it. I'd rather wear the bracelet!

Monday, I have the same problems - arthritis EVERYWHERE. My Dad had RA and a lot of my family has Osteo. Thankfully, mine is Osteo but very painful as I know you know. I've been on Fosamax for years and probably will continue to use it as I know it's a help. I've tried a lot of homeopathic things but haven't found anything that works as well as the prescription pain medication and anti-inflamatories.
Good luck on Tuesday. Let me know how it goes. -Kathy

katco, we have so much in common. I sympathize. Fortunately, I don't have RA, but osteo is no picnic, either. I was on heavy pain meds for a while before I had my surgeries---the kind that people kill each other on the streets for. My hip replacements have made life a whole lot better, but I'm still dealing with the rest of my body. My hands don't work well at all anymore, and my feet make it hard to exercise. I have to go off of HRT, which was my line of defense for a few years, and I think I am finally over the menopause thing after seventeen years. (A family affliction; don't you just love genetics?)
Hang in there; it is all that we can do.

Yes, I can't wait!!! He is the best on Conan, and I love how he always hangs around for the second guest too. Tim + Conan + Andy = Best Bromance on Late Night.

Isn't Andy on santa Clarita diet? ?? Yes! I don't know that this was from the Tim-Conan bromance though. Tim Fresco, the show creator, also did Andy Richter Controls the Universe, so he probably likes to put Andy in his other shows.
