The 2020 Golden Globe nominations were announced today. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was nominated for Best Picture in a comedy as well as best director and screenplay. Leo was nominated for best actor and Brad got a best supporting actor nom (he's got some tough competition in that category). Missing Link was also nominated for best animated film. Hopefully this means Tim will attended and we will get more pics of our man all dressed up in January. No nominations for Deadwood Game of Thrones only got one nomination and that was best actor for Kit Harrington. Considering everyone I know hated the last season this makes me happy that it was snubbed. Katelynn Dever got well deserved a nomination for best actress in a limited series for Unbelievable. Unbelievable got a couple other nominations too, best limited series and Merritt Weaver and Toni Collette were nominated as well.

I was happy to see Missing Link and the four nominations for Unbelievable.
Irritated about Deadwood.
Hopefully Tim will get an invite!

Yes, it would be a lovely holiday gift to see Tim all dressed up at the GG!❤️🥰🙏😍🎶
I need to see what he’s doing with his hair and that beard 🥰❤️
We need some Tim! 🥂🥰
And that is all kinds of wrong that Deadwood has no noms! Tim rocked in that movie and it was beautiful 😍

I was happy to see Missing Link and the four nominations for Unbelievable. Irritated about Deadwood.I was especially happy to see Missing Link was nominated considering it bombed at the box office. I think it only grossed like 26 million or something which I don't understand, all the other Laika films have done really well. I wonder if it hurt that there have been so many kids movies about yetis in the last couple years? I can't believe Deadwood didn't get a single nomination. I thought that with the whole thing with David Milch Deadwood would get at least a little love at the Golden Globes. I wonder if it's just been too long since it was released and people aren't thinking about it anymore. I saw an article earlier with predictions for the SAG awards and it had Tim listed as a nominee "in a perfect world" for Deadwood, which to me says he probably doesn't have a shot for the SAG awards either.

Wow, I didn't know it did so badly at the box office, when it was so good! I enjoyed it so much. I think they failed to market it enough. I wouldn't have known about it at all unless Tim was in it. I really don't think I saw anything about it online. They needed to market it for kids though it was obviously enjoyable for adults. Hopefully it will do well in DVD sales. I will buy one just to help!
Too angry for words about Deadwood and the GG. Seriously, what a joke!

I saw a few previews for it at other movies but I never saw any tv spots for it. I don’t understand why it did so poorly either. I did buy the dvd because it was so good. Tim said the residuals for the animated films are great so hopefully that will make up for it some.
The SAG awards snubbed Deadwood as well. 🤬
OUATH did get a best cast nom for the SAG awards. Gold Derby has them as the favorites to win over the Irishman and Parasite. I think Irishman is probably the stiffest competition.

Yay OUATIH & Missing Link won in their categories. Looks like Tim wasn’t there this year? Hope he gets invited to the Oscars (although his wife maybe busy doing her thing that night 😆!).

I didn't catch any glimpses of him during the show, I didn't see many of the actors actually. Brad, Leo, and Margot of course, Dakota Fanning was there and then Julia Butters and Margaret Qualley but that was about it. There's also the SAG awards on Jan 19th, he's nominated as part of the best ensemble so hopefully he will attend those.
I was so happy to see Missing Link win.
