Here are some super short clips of the Q&A last night. Tim talks briefly in the 6th one. Dakota fanning also talks about her physical transformation. I think it was the contacts that really threw off her look. And apparently we weren’t the only ones who didn’t recognize her. https://www.instagram.com/p/B5LrOw1BWJd

He looks great with a beard. Is this for Fargo?

He looks great with a beard. Is this for Fargo? I’m wondering the same? His hair is quite a bit longer on the sides than it was though, so I’m not sure. He had his beard grown out when he did the Conan podcast back in January/February too, so maybe he just hasn’t wanted to shave when he doesn’t have to. He had the beard in the pic with the USC swim team a couple weeks ago but I think it’s fuller now.

I got my bluray the other day, its definitely worth the money even though there's not a lot of extra Tim content. So far I've only delved into the special features, I haven't watched the movie yet on bluray, hopefully this week I'll have time. I'm pretty sure the dvd is the regular cut that was first shown in theaters and not the re release with additional scenes. Hopefully at some point we will get a director's cut with even more deleted scenes. The deleted scenes have a commercial for Old Chattanooga Beer that is voiced by Walton Goggins which was pretty cool to hear. I thought the voice kind of sounded like Boyd Crowder at the start and sure enough it was Walton. James Marsden's delete cameo is also in there. The only additional scene with Tim was the one that was posted online. The featurettes Quentin Tarantino's Love letter to Hollywood and For the Love of film have a lot of short interview snippets with the cast and crew including Luke Perry but unfortunately no Tim interview in either of those. He is visible in some of the photos and scenes they talk about. He does have a very brief snippet in The Fashion of 1969 talking about the costuming for the Lancer scenes which is the last of the special features. Gotta say I'm a little disappointed by the lack of Tim in the extras but the movie is so good it is worth buying on dvd/bluray.

Is there any DVD commentary?

Is there any DVD commentary? Unfortunately no. The special features include 20 minutes of deleted scenes and then 4 featurettes (Love Letter to Hollywood, For the Love of Film, Cars of 1969, and Fashion of 1969). No commentary and no gag reel.

Thanks for posting the video sarad! Tim's reactions and interactions with Julia were so cute; and taking the attention of Margaret for a second so she could prepare herself. 😂 Julia is a very well spoken and grown up for a 10 year old and such a great actress. I hope hollywood doesn't ruin her like so many other child actors.

Sony released a new special feature on Youtube, mostly film clips with interviews but there are some new interviews with Quentin, Leo, Brad, and Margo Robbie from a panel they did together. Tim shows up around 7:14 and then again at the end around 25:00. The first clip with Tim is new I think but the second was on the DVD.

This really needs to wins Best Picture at the Oscars. I thought Joker was overrated, and so was 1917 and JoJo Rabbit. The Irishman was solid too but I'd be surprised if they gave it to a Netflix film, likewise with Parasite (very good) being a foreign film. This film was just non-stop excellence. The writing, the cast, the performances, the soundtrack, the scenery, all perfect.

The only best picture movies I have seen are OUATIH and Ford V Ferrari which was also excellent. I wouldn't be too upset if OUATIH lost out to Ford V Ferrari but I would love to see OUATIH to win. I still can't believe Joker has gotten so many nominations, comic book movies are never Oscar material. I wonder if Tim will go to the Oscars?

I hope he goes, since OUATIH is nominated for Best Picture, but I can also see him chilling at home or just going to one of the parties.
Joker was nothing at all like a typical comic book/superhero story. It was very dark, in the vein of Taxi Driver. Except for references to it being in Gotham City, you'd almost never know it was connected to Batman. I didn't think it was that brilliant overall but Joaquin Phoenix was fantastic.
