Christina, the infamous twitch scene is only actually3 seconds on digital media. I actually messed around with that one; ( If only) and I couldn't get the delay right. So go ahead and DO IT. It was my fist time doing a gif - with help even- and I failed miserably.
Yes I agree about the "stairs scene". I wish it was like the best "stairs" scene ever- Viggo and Maria Bello in David Croninberg's A History of Violence. Even if you don't like Viggo, check it out.

I've seen your tumblr blog Christina, it's wonderful....I saw these gifs just this morning, they are so much clearer than in the film or you tube.....you are a magician! No, I'm not Photoshop is. lol I just finished the scene from HOH. I'm doing these files from AVIs and Photoshop transforms them into individual frames and his face is so funny in some of these frames... if you didn't know that he is actually speaking it looks like well something else entirely. I was starting to feel like a porn movie editor. Too bad the scene itself is so lame.

I mean the moment. haha.I'd have to check. I'll try sometime. For you, mcm! Because you are a nice gal. But if should succeed (or rather Photoshop) I'm never going to post that sh*t "officially". No I'm going to post it and sign it. I want to go down in the history of the internet as the twitch gif maker... J/K

Thanks for your kind words. You're welcome. I'm updating it daily at the moment. Anyone can do those GIFs with Photoshop. But still I am happy that they turned out pretty much exactly how I had envisioned them.

No, christina. Not everyone can do that---photoshop or no photoshop. I would have to pay my tech to come to my house and show me how to do it. Then I would end up calling him like three thousand times because I would keep messing up. My skills are very limited and this old dog has a very small capacity for learning new tricks.
So to all of you who have these wonderful, technical skills: I salute you and I thank you.

I have worked with other digital imaging programs before, such as Corel Photo Paint and Ulead's Photo Impact. So I'm not completely new to this, but Photoshop is a little different. I had to do a lot of internet research until I figured out how to do the GIFs, because there is no one tutorial out there, explaining it all, but once you know how, it's quite easy. So if anyone has access to PS and has questions concerning the GIF making process, I'd be very happy to answer them to the best of my knowledge. Again thanks for the kind words. I love doing them. I love tinkering with photos.

Having fun using VLC as a screen cap maker: I didn't really notice these moments when I first saw the scene because it goes by so fast. (There is absolutely nothing I can do to enhance the light. It goes all pixelish no matter what setting I use.) obviously, they don't really want us to see it... I just hate that. Anyone know any rescource for Justified screen caps aside from timothy-olyphant.com? Being the nitpicker that I am: what I find funny about this scene. Ava sits on top of Raylan and they're both still dressed. Ava is all uh ah as if they were already seriously going at it. But in the end they are both undressed. So they have sex and then take their clothes off? Most sex scenes just suck. And no, it doesn't have to be highly explicit, but it has to be a little believable. Or just don't show them at all. One of my pet peeves.

LOL. I fast forward through the Ava/Raylan scenes, so I wouldn't know. Not a fan of that coupling.

The whole series is screen capped at 3-5 second intervals here: ladymanson.com/galleries/tv/TVJustified/So not every "good scene" is screen capped exactly where you would want it. It's an interesting site. Interesting gal.

Thanks MCM!
PS: I just checked it and the bits showing Raylan's face are not included. Hehehe. But damn those shots are dark.
Oh, I bought Season 1 and 2 on blu ray on Amazon.com. And they were less expensive than the DVD UK imports I bought from German dealers. Can you believe it?

Aw, c 'mon wkw. You fast forward, lol? Know what I loved about that scene? It was the very FIRST time we'd seen a sex scene on the show. Gave me hope of good things to come. I mean, how much Deadwood did I watch before I got semi-naked Seth, and even then he was nowhere near a woman! There's never been a lot of sex on Justified, so I'm grateful no matter who he's with.

Sad to say, Clover, I do, I really do. It's a handicap being so picky, but I can't enjoy a love/sex scene unless I "like" the pairing. Even before Winona was back in the picture, I didn't like Raylan with Ava. She was whiney and clingy and didn't seem to sense that his feelings for her were not on the same level. It made me uncomfortable. And that's leaving out the fact that I knew this was gonna get Raylan in a boatload of trouble with Art.
Ava is much better with Boyd, and there's a lot more chemistry between those two, IMO
I loved the scene in Fathers and Sons with Winona. For me, that's the first real love scene, because it wasn't love with Ava. If you notice, the scene is even shot differently. The lighting, the camera angles, the music, all of it adds up to let us know that this is the woman Raylan loves. Sadly, it's really the only scene like that, ever.
I didn't mind the bedding of Lindsay. There was chemistry there, and they were both out for the same thing. I loved that she saw the sonogram and still went back for seconds. Lol.

Ava and Winona aside, in that scene where Ava is on top of Raylay (the stills) ... Joelle Carter has a magnficent, muscular back. I remembered thinking that the first time I saw her.
Natalie Zea is very pretty, petite. She is a little more bony than Joelle.
