You all are welcome. The site is cool! It brought me a question: In 'Bloody Harlan,' Raylan is shot in the side. I thought it was his left side ... yet these screen shots show blood on the right side? Is it a blooper?

No,I think it's a bad squib. Watch that scene in Slo-Motion and you can see a squib goes off late, catching him there. Also he could have just bled corn syrup all over depending on how he fell.

Thanks for the investigative work there, Dolphin.... especially exhibit C. .... Because we really need to get to the bottom of this. LOL. You folks know one of us will eventually short-circuit our computer with pools of drool.... If anyone asks why my computer screen looks like the cat licked it, well... the cat ain't talking.

These first two Raylan pics are from my favorite scene from Bulletville, when Raylan is trapped in that bullet hole ridden cabin and he says, "How about you come out unarmed, and I come out unarmed, and we talk?" And the two gunned Raylan, afterwards. OMG that was freakishly awesome scene, FAAAANTASTIC! I gotta watch it again. I kept wondering how the heck is he gonna get outta this one, and he did!

I can't do slo-mo (my video is downloaded from Amazon). But I would totally take your word for it. Yeah ... Graham Yost keeps making the point on how $$$ is a factor in production. You are probably right on, and they didn't want to spend the $ in that shootout scene to reshoot. I noticed this before, but it wasn't until I found the screen caps that I could really see it clearly.

Hehehe I do research for a living. Raylan's become my new favorite subject. With the screen cap site, I can have a field day!

Take this shot for example. I know I've been on my soapbox before about how we got cheated out of a 'Raylan in nothin' but his boots' shot before. But just imagine this scene, as it was written by Elmore Leonard. Would it have been that hard to do? He could have kept his boxers on ... and we'd have gotten the idea:

Squibbs 101: Just because I want to know ...
I've heard they hurt. True?
How many squibbs has Raylan had in the show? Just this one? Do the hits in the bullet proof vests count or does using the vest eliminate the need for using a squibb/blood? Boyd? Ava had the 1, right? (Trooper Tom had 1, may he RIP.)

Dolphin, do not EVER leave me off of the arm porn! This is where I go crazy! Also, digit porn. Remember the "two finger handshake?"
I agree that Taylor Kitsch could be Raylan's bastard half-brother. Justified should definitely try to get him. FNL showcased him beautifully. He has real acting chops which are being wasted on the silly movies he has been making, He needs a dramatic role that he can sink his teeth into. (Also any part of my body that he wants to.)
In all fairness, he is following the route that all young actors seem to take. He's trying to go from TV to film, and he has to pay his dues, as Timothy did, with roles that are somewhat beneath him. I think that Justified could do wonders for him with a well written role.

I think Taylor Kitch and Adrienne Palicky were lead down the action hero path at the wrong time. Backfired on both of them, and I hate to see it. Both actors are so highly talented. I hope to see them both in something good, soon.

I know what you mean about both TK and Adrianne. He did get good reviews for Battleship, and quite frankly for what it was, it wasn't bad. It just didn't get the box office they were hoping for. Not his fault. It is a route most young actors take. Works out as a stepping-stone for some, Jake Gyllenhaal comes to mind, but not so well for many others.
TK's work on FNL is superb. He takes what could have been a one-note character and gives him a depth and nuance not all young actors could pull off. He's more than just a pretty face!
And Raylan's walk.....don't get me started. I could walk behind that man for the rest of my life and never get tired of it.

Hey girls, just a note on the screen caps, when you Ctrl-alt-Print screen; it makes it a Bitmap, or a BMP file.
These are extremely large files. You can bring it into Microsoft paint and save it as a jpg file to make it smaller.
You can also bring it into the other default Microsoft photo editor and save it as a jpg with loss less resolution. (Dolphin's files are jpgs)
Also, you can post them to photobucket and share that way .
Please Avoid BMP attachments as this type of board is designed more for text than the TO porn share we've turned it into. Ah ha ha ha ha ha.

As for TK, might be a good add, if allbeit, a temporary one. He definitely has the look and the talent. They could dream up some relationship to Raylan. After all, isn't everyone related to everyone in Kentucky?? JK

Well, I've already compromised myself my saying I was a reader of People, so I just wanted to point out that there's a page feature in the newest edition called They Could Be Related (or some such) and it features, of course, TO and TK. Not worth buying the mag for even if you are a completist collector.

Are we having a storage problem?

Sometimes, I think the blood was a continuity mistake. I noticed it the first time I watched that episode. He falls down with his arm clamped to the right side, like it's where he got shot. He flexes toward that side, seemingly reacting to the pain but rotates like he got hit in the left. Going forward, its always on the left. He gets up from the ground when Art comes over with blood on the left side, then and he walks in holding his left side. When he holds up Mags' door frame in the next scene, it's on the left side.
Other times, I think it was maybe on purpose, too, to show that he got hit, since it wouldn't make sense him lying there waiting for Doyle to shoot him, gun within reach unless he was pretty severely hurt. And they had to have him laying that way so they could show a little entry wound from Tim's bullet and not have to explode Doyle's face with an exit wound. The boo-boo is on the ground side, but what the hey.

Here's another squibb misfire. We've all seen where Ava's bullet wound was. Also, the 2nd pic is just because I like to see Raylan hanging upside down:

We can't have Seth getting emotional, now can we? No need to get misty-eyed, Sheriff.

Thanks for the Seth pics.
We've never seen Raylan with tears in his eyes. Would have to be the right episode. Might get Tim an Emmy ... just staying.

That's why we need to see the birth of that baby. If that doesn't bring tears to his eyes, nothing will.
